Let's face it, we can do everything right when it comes to trying to keep our gel and cream eyeliners from drying out.
This basically includes screwing the lid on tightly and not leaving them open to long.
Even with doing that day end and day out they can still dry out before their expiration date.
There are tons of methods out there for reviving them and bringing them back to life.
I am going to share with you one way that I have found that works for me time and time again.
It will save you money on eyeliners and allow you to get the most value out of the eyeliners you have already spent your hard earned cash on.
Items you will need:
-The dried out cream/gel eyeliner
-e.l.f. Mineral Infused Face Primer
(It can be purchased online here at http://www.elfcosmetics.com/p/mineral-face-primer or at target.com for $6.)
-A bobby pin or any other object that can be using for mixing
Are you ready for this simple DIY?
1. Open the eyeliner.
2. Take the e.l.f. Mineral Infused Face Primer and press one pump of the product into the eyeliner.
3. Take your mixing tool and mix the primer into the eyeliner until it is smooth.
I can honestly say that this is the best method that I have tried. I have done this on Maybelline, L'Oreal, and ColourPop liners and I am getting ready to do it on one of my MAC ones.
I have noticed that my liner glides on easily and has the same staying power as before.
All of the ones that I have done are still going strong a year later.
I have yet to see one dry out again!
Try it for yourself and let me know how it works for you!
If you plan on purchasing any of the e.l.f. Mineral Infused Face Primer online, don't forget to go through Ebates first prior to purchasing.
