Makeup Geek MannyMua Palette Swatches and Makeup of the Day

Makeup Geek and MannyMua recently collaborated on an eyeshadow palette and what they came up with is pure beauty.

The palette comes with 9 shades.

Artemis—muted champagne yellow with a shimmery finish.
Beaches & Cream—soft peachy beige with a matte finish.
Luna—medium rose gold with a foiled finish.
Cosmopolitan—gold-flecked medium rose with a shimmery finish.
Sora—medium earthy terracotta with a matte finish.
Frappe—medium maple brown with a matte finish.
Insomnia—warm red brown with blue reflects and a foiled finish.
Mars—deep cherry red with a matte finish.
Aphrodite—deep plum brown with a matte finish.

Swatched left to right - Artemis, Beaches & Cream, Luna, Cosmopolitan, Sora, Frappe, Insomnia, Mars, and Aphrodite.

Swatches with flash.

I have been using the palette everyday since it arrived.

I used it to create this look.

To create this look I used 5 shades in the palette.

I applied Artemis to the inner corner of my eyes as well as my brow bone.

I blended Beaches & Cream all over the lid up to the brow bone as my transition shade.

Next I blended Sora in the crease.

Can we talk about Sora for a second?

When I saw the name I instantly thought of Sora from Kingdom Hearts.

I saw MannyMua's Youtube video talking about the palette before it was released and he confirmed that the shade is inspired by the Kingdom Hearts character Sora!

Ok I just had a totally geeky moment, but I love that game and still play it occasionally.

I then blended Mars in the outer third of my lid and crease as well as using it to smoke out the bottom two thirds under my eye.

Lastly, I packed Luna (my favorite shade in the palette) on my lid and under the first half of my eye.

Luna reminds me a lot of Anastasia Beverly Hills Pink Champagne. In my Youtube video I posted I compare them and it seems that Luna is more of a pink.

I am already a huge fan of Makeup Geek eyeshadows so this palette can do no wrong in my eyes.

All of the shades are pigmented and Luna and Insomnia are crazy pigmented.

The palette is limited edition and is $45.

It is currently sold out but is expected to restock in the next couple of weeks.
