New e.l.f. - Aqua Beauty Collection - First Impression and Swatches - Youtube Video

Have you heard of the new e.l.f. Aqua Beauty Collection?

Check it out on my Youtube video below.

Thanks for watching!

e.l.f. Aqua Beauty Collection - First Impressions and Swatches

Happy Easter!

e.l.f. Cosmetics recently released a new collection called Aqua Beauty.

The collection can be found here:

The Aqua Beauty Collection contains 4 different types of items (I picked up all of them except for the Primer Mist).

Please note that some of the items are currently sold out, but be on the lookout for a restock soon.

The Aqua Beauty Collection contains products that are infused with purified water. The products give a radiant, dewy finish and glow.

e.l.f. Aqua Beauty Molten Liquid Eyeshadow - $4

Pictured from left to right:

-Brushed Copper - shimmery champagne
-Liquid Gold - shimmery gold
-Rose Gold - shimmery pink nude
-Molten Bronze - shimmery brown

Swatched from bottom to top: Brushed Copper, Liquid Gold, Rose Gold, and Molten Bronze.

Look at the shimmery, metallic, amazingness!

The Molten Liquid Eyeshadows can be worn alone on your eyes or used as an eyeshadow base with an eyeshadow placed on top of them. This will allow your eyeshadows to pop and last longer.

I have only worn one of them for a couple of hours, which was Rose Gold and didn't have any creasing.

I plan on wearing them longer to really put them to the test.

e.l.f Aqua Beauty Blush & Bronzer - $6

-Bronzed Peach
-Bronzed Pink Beige
-Bronzed Violet

I have to admit that when I opened each Blush & Bronzer Duo I was intimidated.

I thought that they looked very dark in the pans and that they wouldn't work on my far skin tone.

I haven't yet worn them on my face, but from swatching them and blending them out they don't look so dark.

They have an unusual consistency that almost feels slightly wet. They appear to be a mix between a sponge consistency and a powder.

I would recommend applying them with a light hand and building them up if necessary.

Upon first glance at them they look as though they might all be matte, but upon closer inspection some of the blushes look like they might have a slight shimmer.

Based upon the swatches on my arm the shimmer doesn't seem to show. I think if it shows on the face that it will be subtle, definitely once blended out.

e.l.f. Aqua Beauty Radiant Gel Lip Stain - $4

Pictured left to right:

-Rouge Radiance - red
-Red Orange Wash - reddish orange
-Dewy Berry - berry pink

Swatched left to right - Rouge Radiance, Red Orange Wash, and Dewy Berry

Same swatches, different angle

Swatches with flash

Upon swatching these I found that Rouge Radiance looks more orange than red and that Red Orange Wash looks more red than orange.

I made sure that I swatched the correct ones. The only thing that I can think of is that they were packaged incorrectly.

I would be curious to find out if anyone else noticed the same thing.

I found Red Orange Wash (middle) to be the least pigmented of the three.

Does anyone else think these look like blood or have I been binge watching way too much True Blood?

If you can get over how they look in the tube, these definitely have some major staying power.

I swatched them last night for my Youtube video (link below) and I still have the stains on my hand the next day. That is after washing my hands multiple times and showering.

If you want some hardcore lip stains then it looks like you may have to look no further.

I have yet to try them on the lips, but if they did this to my hand I can only imagine.

Walgreens and CVS Haul - Nivea Post Shave Balm, Airspun, Rimmel, L'Oreal, Milani, and Revo - Youtube Video

Want to see what I think of these items that I recently picked up from Walgreens and CVS?

Walgreens and CVS Haul - Nivea Post Shave Balm, Airspun, Rimmel, L'Oreal, Milani, and Revo

I just got back from a short vacation to celebrate my birthday in Vegas.

Do you know what I did while I was there?

I am sure you can imagine, but I went makeup shopping.

I made a couple trips each to Walgreens and CVS (I also made a trip to Sephora, but that will be in a separate post).

I picked up some new items that had been looking for as well as raved about items on social media.

Walgreens

-Nivea Men Original Replenishing Post Shave Balm - $7.29

It is $6.79 online.

I just found out that Ulta just started carrying this online too for $6.49.

-Airspun Loose Face Powder in Translucent Extra Coverage - $7.99

It is $6.49 online.

-Milani Everyday Eyes in 05 Earthy Elements - $9.99

Earthy Elements is sold out online at Walgreens, but is available online on Milani's website.

-Rimmel Kate Sculpting Palette - Coral Glow - $6.99

Available online at kmart.com for $6.49.

-L'Oreal Infallible Pro-Matte 24 Hr. Foundation in 103 Natural Buff - $13.79

It is $12.99 online.

CVS

-Revo Beauty 360 Honey Lip Balm

-Milani Conceal & Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation & Concealer in 01 Creamy Vanilla - $9.99

This one is for fair skin with cool undertones.

I have been using a lot of these items lately and here are my first impressions.

Nivea Men's Post Shave Balm
-I picked this one up due to social media popularity.
-It can be used as a face primer as opposed to high end primers.
-The one that everyone uses is the Sensitive Skin one, but I accidentally picked up the Original.
-It contains ingredients that cause your foundation to stick to it.
-So far I like how it works, make sure that you use it sparingly and that you massage it into your skin.
-Apply your foundation evenly so it doesn't appear patchy.
-On me the scent seems to linger for at least 4 hours, but others haven't noticed.

Airspun Loose Face Powder
-Another item that I picked up due to social media popularity.
-The one I picked up is the Translucent Extra Coverage.
-Is comparable to high end setting powders.
-Can be used as an under eye setting powder or all over the face setting powder.
-Has a perfume scent that reminds me of my grandmother, so it brings out fond memories, but isn't noticeable once applied.

L'Oreal Infallible Pro Matte Foundation
-Demi-matte finish
-Up to 24 HR wear
-Medium coverage
-Air-light
-Works great for my oily skin

Milani Conceal & Perfect 2-in-1 Foundation and Concealer
-Foundation and concealer in one
-Medium to full coverage foundation
-Water Resistant
-Has a convenient pump
-Lightweight
-I picked up Creamy Vanilla which I feel may be a little dark for me.
-After looking at reviews it seems that the line doesn't have a shade light enough for fair skin.
-I have only used this one once so I am still trying it out, but I may have to get another shade and mix them together so it is more suitable to my skin tone.

Milani Everyday Eyes Earthy Elements Palette
-Shimmer and matte shades
-Pigmented
-Reminds me of shades in the Kat Von D Monarch Palette.
-First eye contouring and highlighting palette.
-Comes with a mini dual ended eyeshadow and blending brush.

Rimmel Kate Sculpting Palette
-3-in-1 highlighter, blush, and bronzer palette
-Coral Glow is great for fair/light skin tones
-Lightly pigmented for a natural look
-Has a nice instructional picture on the back showing where to place each product.

Revo Lip Balm
-Cute bee hive packaging
-Moisturizing
-I picked up the honey scent, but I swear it smells like peppermint.

If you plan on purchasing any of the items online, don't forget to go through Ebates first prior to purchasing.

Below is my referral link to Ebates (currently 7% cash back for Walgreens, 6% cash back for Ulta, 3% cash back for Kmart,  for any of you who are interested in signing up.

bh Cosmetics Nude Lips and Nude Blush Palette and Swatches - Youtube Video

If you love Nude Makeup items you have to check out my latest video.

I picked up two items recently from bh Cosmetics called the Nude Lips Palette and Nude Blush Palette.

Check it out...

Wolf Fawn - Alice in Wonderland Haul - Youtube Video

Do you love Disney?

If you do, check out my video on this online website called Wolf Fawn.

bh Cosmetics Nude Lips and Nude Blush Palettes and Swatches

Hello Dolls!

Here is another one of those posts that I thought I had done, but apparently I posted the Youtube video and never finished the blog.

A couple of weeks ago bh Cosmetics released two nude products, a Nude Lips Lipstick Palette and a Nude Blush Palette.

I love my nude makeup so I decided to get them to see what they were all about.

The Nude Blush Palette comes with 10 nude blushes.

They range in shades from pinks, corals, to beiges, and reddish browns.

It is currently on sale for $10.00.

Swatches on my bare arm in lighting - from left to right starting with the top row and ending with the second row.

A closer look at the swatches.

These blushes are very pigmented, blendable, and long lasting.

The pans are decently sized.

Some shades can even be used as bronzers or for contouring.

Swatches with flash

The other nude palette is the Nude Lips 28 Color Lipstick Palette.

It comes with a wide range of nude lipsticks that can be mixed together to create a custom shade.

The shades range from pinks, corals, beiges, pinky nudes,  to browns.

It is on sale for $12.

Here are swatches of the shades.

The top of my hand has the first row of the palette and each following row is swatched under the previous row.

Another look at the swatches

I found that it was slightly difficult to really get a good picture of all of the swatches due to the fact that they are creamy and have a gleamy finish.

The gleamy finish kept reflecting the light.

Here are the swatches photographed with flash which gives you a better look at the true color of each shade.

Here is an artsy shot of the swatches.

One more for good measure.

The lipsticks in this palette are pigmented and not sheer.

They are moisturizing as well as long wearing.

What's great about this palette besides the fact that the shades are beautiful is that they can be mixed together to create your own custom lipstick shade.

When using these I recommend using a lip brush.

This way the lipsticks will stay more clean as opposed to dipping your fingers directly into them.

If you plan on purchasing either of these items, don't forget to go through Ebates first prior to purchasing.

Below is my referral link to Ebates (currently 7.5% cash back for bh Cosmetics for any of you who are interested in signing up.

First time Ebates users will earn a $10 cash back bonus when they make purchases totaling at least $25 within 90 days of signing up.

Have you tried either of these products? Thoughts.

I also posted a Youtube video of the swatches which can be seen here:

Wolf Fawn - Alice in Wonderland Shirt and Coffee Cup

Hello Dolls!

I know that I have been MIA lately and I could have sworn I had already posted this since I had already uploaded my blog video on it.

Anyway, I'm back and I pan on hopefully getting somewhat caught up on outstanding posts and videos.

Somewhere around two weeks ago I had uploaded a Youtube video on a couple of items that I had picked up from this online store called Wolf Fawn.

I was introduced to the online shop called Wolf Fawn from the lovely Youtube user Beautifully Nerdy.

She is such a sweet doll who loves Disney, you can check out here Youtube channel here:

She had purchased a shirt from Wolf Fawn and in posting it I saw it and was immediately curious about the shop.

Wolf Fawn has Disney shirts, beanies, and coffee mugs.

Some of them remind me of the Starbucks logo. They have cute little descriptions or sayings on them that relate directly to the character they are for. For example they have Frozen shirts that say frozen coffee.

They are so adorable that if you are a Disney lover, I highly recommend checking them out.

The shirts are $18.50, the mugs are $14.50, and the beanies are $22.50.

You can check Wolf Fawn's shop out here:

Are you a Disney lover?

Here is the link to my Youtube video on the items I ordered if you want to check it out:

ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip Haul and Swatches - Youtube Video

ColourPop has some amazing new lipsticks called Ultra Satin Lips.

Trust me you need to see these.

Check out my video on them including swatches here.

Thanks for watching!

Makeup Geek MannyMua Palette Swatches and Makeup of the Day - Youtube Video

Well look no further.

In this video I show swatches of the new Makeup Geek and MannyMua Palette.

ColourPop Ultra Satin Lip Swatches

ColourPop came out with yet another type of liquid lipstick.

This one is called Ultra Satin Lip and it is amazing!

They come in 16 shades and are $6 each.

I ordered 7 of them.

Left to right - Magic Wand, Echo Park, Dopey, Lyin' King, London Fog, The Rabbit, and Frick N' Frack.

Pictured here with flash.

When I first unboxed them and looked at them I thought a lot of the colors looked the same.

Once I started swatching them I could tell that while they are similar they are definitely different.

What can I say, I know what shades I am drawn to.

Swatched left to right - Magic Wand, Echo Park, Dopey, Lyin' King, London Fog, The Rabbit, and Frick N' Frack.

Descriptions of the shades:

Magic Wand - Light nude

Echo Park - Peachy nude

Dopey - Dusty Mauve

Lyin' King - Raspberry

London Fog - Cool toned blue red

The Rabbit - Bright fuchsia with a blue sheen

Frick N' Frack - Rosy terracota

Pictured above with flash

Pictured below again for the fun of it :)

The Ultra Satin Lip is described as being a bold and lightweight liquid lipstick with a satin finish.

Their texture reminds me of the NYX Soft Matte Lip Cream.

They feel moisturizing on the lips and not dry like the ColourPop Ultra Matte Lips.

It takes about 3-5 minutes for them to dry, but once they set they are long lasting.

On a typical day, I apply mine at 7 am and by lunch at 1pm they are still going strong.

Some color will transfer on items that come in contact with your lips such as cups, napkins, or food.

Even after eating there is still a lot of color on the lips.

At the end of a typical work day at 5pm, there is still color on my lips though it is more of a stain.

Here I am wearing Frick N' Frack.

Before I apply ColourPop's Ultra Satin Lips to my lips,  I first exfoliate, add a lip balm, then a lip primer, and then the Ultra Satin Lip.

I haven't been using a lip liner, but instead have been lining my lip with the wand from the Ultra Satin Lip.

The only problem now is that I don't have enough lips to apply them to. There are so many colors and it is a shame that you can't wear them all at once. I guess I will just have to rotate them.

They are quickly becoming one of my favorite liquid lipsticks.

Get yours here at https://colourpop.com/

Currently if you sign up on ColourPop's website you receive $5 off your first order.

In addition, right now if you spend $10 on their site you get a free limited edition Ultra Matte X Lippie Stix in Poppin (I just ordered mine). Poppin' is a deep blue based hot pink in a matching hot pink tube.

If you want to see more swatches of ColourPop's Ultra Satin Lips as well as listening to me talk about them, check out my Youtube video here:
