Walgreens Haul - Wet n Wild and Maybelline

On my most recent trip to the drugstore, Walgreens that is, I picked up three new items.

They are new in the sense that they are new items in existing makeup lines.

I picked up Wet n Wild's Illuminating Palette in Catwalk Pink, Maybelline's Color Tattoo Crayon in Barely Beige, and Maybelline's Baby Balm Ball in Pretty in Peach.

The Wet n Wild Megaglo Illuminating Palette in Catwalk Pink is in a new formula.

It contains 4 highlighters which are in the shades white gold, light pink, pink, and a bronze gold.

Here they are swatched on my bare arm in lighting.

Here are the same swatches with flash.

They contain an overspray of glittery shimmer. Once that is wiped off they are shimmery.

They are pigmented and very pretty highlighters.

My only problem with this highlighter is the packaging. I don't know if it is just mine, but I honestly break a nail every time I open it. It is very hard to get open.

It is a big sized highlighter that will definitely last a long time.

It was $4.99 and is currently not available online at, but is online at, but is currently sold out.

Next up is the Maybelline Color Tattoo Crayon in Barely Beige.

Maybelline Color Tattoo's in the container are one of my go to daily eye bases.

I was excited when I found out that they now sold them in crayon form.

Below are swatches of both the container and the crayon, but in the shade Barely Beige.

The shades look similar, but to me it looks as though the container form is more of a pinky beige whereas the crayon is more of a yellow beige,

I have been using the crayon now for about a week and I can say that as far as I can tell they perform the same.

I don't have any creasing when using them as an eye base under my eyeshadows.

I love the fact that you just apply the crayon straight to your lids without having to dip your fingers into a container. It is definitely cleaner.

They come in 10 shades and are $5.59 online at

Lastly, the newest addition to the Maybelline Baby Lips line, the Baby Balm Ball.

They are tinted lip balms that provide a wash of color while leaving lips smooth and soft.

It feels like any other Baby Lips product to me.

It doesn't provide a lot of color, but it is very hydrating on the lips.

Swatched below is Pretty in Peach.

They are available in 4 shades and are $4.99 each. They are available online at

I just love finding great drugstore finds. I am very happy with all of the items that I picked up.

Have you tried any of these?

If you plan on purchasing them online, don't forget to go through Ebates first prior to purchasing.

Below is my referral link to Ebates (currently 4% cash back for and 3% for Ulta for any of you who are interested in signing up.

First time Ebates users will earn a $10 cash back bonus when they make purchases totaling at least $25 within 90 days of signing up.

Who doesn't love to earn free money that can then be used for buying more makeup?

It's genius really.
