bh Cosmetics Haul - Pride Prejudice Zombies Collection and Foil Eyes 28 Color Eyeshadow Palette - Swatches and Review

After restraining myself from opening my bh Cosmetics order for a couple days, I was finally able to rip it open to film my Youtube video on the haul.

After seeing what I ordered I honestly don't know how I was able to contain myself.

I ordered both pieces from the Pride + Prejudice + Zombies Collection as well as the Foil Eyes 28 Color Eyeshadow Palette.

Let's not waste any time and just jump into the goodies.

Here are swatches of the Pride + Prejudice + Zombies Eye + Cheek Palette.

Currently on sale for $13 (regular price is $16.50).

Swatches were done on my bare arm in natural lighting with no primer.

How pretty are these shades?

They go from neutral to smokey.

This palette is very versatile.

Using this palette you can create natural day looks as well as night looks.

The palette comes with 12 eyeshadows in shimmer and matte shades.

The shadows are pigmented and blend nicely.

The blushes and the highlighter are gorgeous, though the highlighter didn't really show up that well in pictures.

The packaging is an A+.

The only negative to this palette is the smell that it has. I can't quite place my finger on it.

I don't think it is the shadows themselves, but rather the packaging that smells. I think it smells a little like rubber.

I am curious if anyone else has noticed that or is it just my palette?

Next up is the Pride + Prejudice + Zombies Lip Gloss Collection on sale for $10 (regular price is $12.50).

Swatched left to right on my bare arm in natural lighting - Jane (light pink), Elizabeth (pink nude), Mary (mocha), Kitty (pink shimmer), and Lydia (red shimmer or peach?).

These are more of a sheer gloss that give a tint of color.

You can mix them together for custom colors, or wear them alone, or over another lip product.

They are glossy, but not sticky.

They give off a shine and remind me of NYX Mega Shine Glosses.

They don't seem to have a scent to them.

Here they are pictured with flash.

Lastly, here is the 28 Foil Eyes Color Eyeshadow Palette.

The shadows are amazing and remind me of the Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadows.

Just look at these swatches.

I swatched these over my bare arm that I first wiped with a baby wipe.

This way my arm was clean and a little wet.

Here is the first row in lighting.

Aren't these beautiful?

The first five shades remind me of mermaids.

You could create such an amazing look with the first 4 shades.

Here is the second row.

It is just as amazing as the first row.

They are so gorgeous that you can't just post one picture on each swatch, you need a couple to display their beauty properly.

The gorgeousness keeps coming, here is the third row.

Look at that vibrant yellow and gold.

That last shade is a brown green duochrome and looks like Too Faced's Girly shadow from the Pretty Rebel Palette.

Swatches with flash, because we need them.

Last up but certainly not last up in pigmentation is the fourth and final row.

All I can say is wow!

Really wow, this palette Wowed me for sure.

The Foil Eyes 28 Color Eyeshadow Palette is amazing.

The shades look comparable to the Makeup Geek Foiled Eyeshadows.

All of the shades are insanely pigmented and even more insanely gorgeous.

The shadows are smooth and glide on nicely when applied.

They can be applied dry or wet, but apply them wet for better pigmentation as pictured above.

The best part about this palette is that it is currently on sale for only $12 (regular price is $19).

I only have one negative about this palette and it has nothing to do with the quality of the shadows, but some of the eyeshadow pans in my palette are loose. I could always depot them and put them in a Z Palette.

I highly recommend this palette, just look at the swatches, they really speak for themselves.

  1. I bought those same two palettes on the same sale. I really like the Zombie palette, but I was disappointed the shiny silver shade was just an overspray. I still like the shimmery dark gray, but I would have preferred to know what I was getting. I don't notice a smell.

I love the Foil Eyes Shadows, butter than MUG's. Several of my pans fell out of the packaging, though. BhCosmetics are sending me out a new one. I hope the glue job is better on that one.
