One of the Influenster Voxboxes that I received recently was the Marc Jacobs Beauty Voxbox.
In this voxbox is a full sized Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara.
I received it for free courtesy of Influenster for testing purposes.
I have been using the Marc Jacobs Velvet Noir Major Volume Mascara nonstop for the past week and I think that I can give it an honest review.
It has become one of my go to mascaras as of late.
The formula is a little dry.
I have also found that you need to wipe some of the product off the wand prior to applying it to your lashes.
These are in no way negatives of the product just observations.
They definitely aren't deal breakers and don't hinder the products performance in any way.
It is fast drying.
I am able to curl my lashes a couple of minutes after applying the mascara.
This doesn't cause any fallout or cause breakage of the mascara on my lashes.
I have found that it holds up to about 8 hours before I notice some smearing of product from my lower lashes.
It definitely does what it is supposed to.
It is a dark black formula.
It provides length and volume and can even be described as giving a false eyelash appearance.
It can also be built up with multiple coats.
It is exclusive to Sephora and is $26.
It is currently sold out, but you can enter in your email on the product page to be notified of when it is in stock again.
When it is back in stock and if you plan on purchasing them online, don't forget to go through Ebates first prior to purchasing.
Below is my referral link to Ebates (currently 4% cash back for Sephora for any of you who are interested in signing up.
First time Ebates users will earn a $10 cash back bonus when they make purchases totaling at least $25 within 90 days of signing up.
Who doesn't love to earn free money that can then be used for buying more makeup?
It's genius really.
Here is the product link on Sephora's page if you already have an Ebates account.
