bh Cosmetics - Pride + Prejudice + Zombies Collection

Whether you are a fan of bh Cosmetics, Pride + Prejudice, Zombies, or Pride + Prejudice + Zombies, than bh Cosmetics has a new collection for you.

It is inspired by the upcoming Sony Pictures Pride + Prejudice + Zombies movie.

It was rumored that it would release last Friday, January 29th, but it didn't end up happening.

I was among the rest who were anxiously awaiting its release.

bh Cosmetics announced that it wouldn't be released on Friday, but that it would be soon.

We didn't have to wait that much longer.

It was released the next night (Saturday, January 30th around 10 PM PST).

The collection contains two pieces.

First up is the Pride + Prejudice + Zombies - Eye + Cheek Palette.

It contains  12 eyeshadows, 2 blushes, and a highlighter.

The eyeshadows are shimmers, mattes, and satins.

The palette is originally priced at $16.50, but is currently on sale for $13.00.

The other item in the collection is a lip gloss set.

It contains 5 lip glosses.

The glosses are in nude, pink, peach, and mocha shades.

It is originally priced at $12.50, but currently on sale for $10.00.

I have seen the Pride + Prejudice + Zombies book before, but have never read it. I am thinking about reading it before I see the movie.

The trailers of the movie have gotten me excited for its release.

Are you familiar with Pride + Prejudice + Zombies? Are you going to see the movie?

If you plan on purchasing the collection, don't forget to go through Ebates first prior to purchasing.

Below is my referral link to Ebates (currently 7.5% cash back for bh Cosmetics for any of you who are interested in signing up.

2nd 10 Dollar Mall Haul - Youtube Video

My 2nd 10 Dollar Mall Haul is live on my Youtube Channel. Checkout it out below.

Almost all of these items are still available and they are either $4 or $5.

Thanks for watching!!!

Influenster Jingle VoxBox

The second VoxBox that I received in December from Influenster was the Jingle VoxBox.

Here it is in all of its glory.

The items came in a red box decorated with snowflakes, perfect for Christmas and contained 8 gifts.

All items from Influenster were provided complimentary to me for testing purposes :)

First up, a coupon for a free Ore Ida Tater Tots.

I need to act quick on redeeming this one as it expires 3/31/16.

I can't wait to eat my Ore Ida Tater Tots.

I received the most adorable Itty Bitty from Hallmark.

They had different ones that they were giving out, but I am so happy that I received Olaf from Frozen.

I also received a mini Cetaphil moisturizing cream.

I love this stuff it is very moisturizing yet doesn't feel greasy.

It's great for throwing in your purse to take on the go or while you are traveling.

In the box there was also a lash adhesive with a wand that looks similar to a liquid eyeliner.

I have used it already to apply the Kiss lashes below that were also in the box.

This is my new favorite lash adhesive.

It isn't gooey or messy.

It dries quickly and doesn't show any white residue as other lash adhesives do since it is clear.

It doesn't irritate my eyes either.

The Kiss lashes are amazing.

They have lots of volume and look and feel natural.

They are the perfect size for my eyes.

With some lashes when I apply them I find that either they bother my eyes or I am constantly aware of them on my eyes.

I will be purchasing some Kiss lashes for my lash collection.

When I first received this NYC eyeliner 24 Hr. black eyeliner, I just assumed it was a pencil liner.

It is in fact like a glide on slide on eyeliner that you have to sharpen.

It applies wonderfully to the waterline and lasts without irritating my eyes.

It also works well for applying your winged liner.

I also received a Pure Ice nail polish in Lacquered Lilacs.

Pure Ice is exclusive to Walmart.

This shade is very pretty, perfect for Spring.

This nail polish is comparable to any other nail polish out there.

Lastly, for some yummies.

I received three packages of Biscoff cookies. Each package comtaining 2 cookies.

They are described as Europe's favorite cookie with coffee.

They are yummy. They taste like cinnamon as well as other spices.

Check them out here

Overall, I am very pleased with all of the items that I received in my Influenster Jingle VoxBox.

I have become a huge fan of Kiss Lashes and their lash adhesive.

I want to buy up all of the Hallmark Itty Bittys.

I can't wait to claim my free Ore-Ida Tater Tots.

The NYC eyeliner is awesome as well as the Cetaphil cream.

I was already a fan of Biscoff.

The Pure Ice Nail is very pretty.

If you haven't yet checked out Influenster, I highly recommend it.

It is a free service and you can ultimately get free VoxBoxes too.

My previous post is my Youtube Video on the Influenster Jingle VoxBox, so check it out.

Have a great day! Thanks for reading and watching!!!

Starbucks Anna Sui Collection

Oh Starbucks, why do you do this to me?

A new Starbucks Collection that is Anna Sui.

Yes, please!!!

This collection is inspired by the Anna Sui boutique in New York.

The Collection comes with 5 pieces.

Three of the items are sold out online, a tote, and two water bottles.

Here are the two Double Wall Travelers that are still available online.

Each is $22.95.

First up is the Boutique Double Wall Traveler

The second is called the Rose Stripe Double Wall Traveler.

This one is inspired by an iconic dress from Anna Sui's fashion line.

If you plan on purchasing them online, don't forget to go through Ebates first prior to purchasing.

Below is my referral link to Ebates (currently 2.5% cash back for Starbucks for any of you who are interested in signing up.

First time Ebates users will earn a $10 cash back bonus when they make purchases totaling at least $25 within 90 days of signing up.

I picked up the Boutique Double Wall Traveler.

Which are you getting?

Lorac Nude Necessities Palette Review and Swatches

The newest release from Lorac is an Ulta exclusive.

It's this beauty, The Nude Necessities Palette.

It comes in pretty reflective packaging that can look either gold or silver depending on the angle at which light hits it (or maybe it's just my eyes).

It's a great magnet for fingerprints.

Here's the inside of the palette modeling with its cute self.

Just another excuse to put two of my Starbucks tumblers in a picture.

All up close and personal with the palette before I got swatch happy.

Here's another picture getting the palette's good side.

Swatches of the palette from top to bottom and left to right over NYX's Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.

I usually try and do swatches on only my bare arm so that you can see how the shadows truly look without any primer or base.

Some of these shades were so nude or light that I wanted to make sure they could be seen.

I swatched each one about three times to build them up.

More swatches next to the palette for reference.

Deja Vu? Possibly the same picture, but most likely not (just more of a close up).

One more picture of the swatches for the road.

A look that I created using the palette.

Same look different angle

Same angle, same look

I created this look using, using oh wait, the shades don't have names. I don't know if I paid attention to that.

I guess they would have had to have called them brown 1, brown 2, brown three, and more browns.

I'll get to the review in a second (it isn't that bad I promise).

I used the white as my brow bone highlight.

I used the 1st shade in the 2nd row (light beige) as an all over the crease as a transition shade.

I layered the 3rd shade in the last row over the transition shade above.

I blended the last shade in the 3rd row in the outer corner of my eye.

I used my Maybelline Color Tattoo in Barely Branded on my lid as a base. I topped that with the 1st shade in the third row it is a champagne shimmer (that looks strikingly similar to Stila's Kitten, it is beautiful). I also applied this shade to the inner corner of my eyes.

I lined under my eyes using the 4th shade in the 1st row (that I used above in my crease).

My lips are Colourpop's Ultra Matte Lip in Stingraye.

The Review:

Overall, I like the palette.

It is nothing new or overly exciting, but it is a great palette when you want an everyday nude look.

Basically if you feel like you want to wear makeup, but don't want to look like you are wearing makeup, then this palette is for you.

If you want a palette that is going to be great for everyday natural looks then this palette is for you too.

The back of the box even states "achieve the no makeup look with Lorac!"

I think this palette embodies that perfectly.

There are 12 shades total.

The 4 shimmers are very pigmented and pretty.

It looks like there are 8 mattes, but I feel like 2 of those might be satins.

There is a white, a white gold, a gold, a champagne, a beige, a taupe (maybe pink champagne?)

I feel like sometimes I am the worst at describing shades.
Sometimes it is so hard to tell what color they are.

Then there are 50 shades of brown. I mean 6 shades. They could have really called this palette the Brown Palette or the Half Brown Half Other Colors Palette (that's a horrible name, but you get the picture).

I think there is a slight difference between each one, but some of them look very similar upon first glance.

So besides being mainly brown which can be a plus or a minus depending on your preference, the shades blend amazingly and are buttery smooth.

They are pigmented, but some shades are more natural (lighter) than others.

It is very affordable at $30 and great for travel.

Again the shimmers are gorgeous and all of the shades blend like a dream.

I like the palette and have been using it a lot lately.

Plop a brown in the crease, maybe not plop, blend a brown in the crease and pat a shimmer on the lid and you are ready to take on the world!

If you plan on purchasing it online, don't forget to go through Ebates first prior to purchasing.

Below is my referral link to Ebates (currently 3% cash back for Ulta for any of you who are interested in signing up.

Do you need it? Maybe not.

Do you want it? Maybe.

Would I judge you?

Heck, no!

IMATS LA 2016 came and went and it took all of money with it.

Now I have to wait 364 more days until next year.

Here's a look at the damage.

Here's me and my friend taking a traditional picture under the IMATS banner (if you have ever been there then you know this is a must.

The funny thing about this picture is that in it we don't look broke even though this was taken a couple hours after the damage to our wallets.

I think we were just imagining playing with all of our new makeup.

I also visited Cici Fashion Brush. I picked up a cute heart shaped blush brush, a split eyeshadow brush, and an angled blush brush.

So here's a quick run through of how our day went.

We arrived at IMATS two hours before check-in, around 7AM, we rushed to the Starbucks on the corner and headed to the line to check-in, which by this time was already starting to get long.

Oh the line pictured below is when we were already checked in. I am jumping ahead of myself.

So after entertaining ourselves for a couple of hours we checked in and then were redirected outside where there were two lines. We picked one not really realizing the difference between the two.

We knew that we had one mission and one mission only at that was to head to Morphe Brushes first (since we were well aware of how busy they get based on previous experience).

So we ended up in the correct line to get to Morphe Brushes only to be redirected outside to wait in the Morphe Brushes line for almost another hour.

I guess it was their way of keeping things orderly.

We finally got inside and shopped Morphe Brushes and after that all the rest of our IMATS experience was a blur, only because it happened so quickly.

You would be amazed at how tired you can feel just from shopping.

We decided to take a selfie to kill some time since we starting becoming impatient.

We just wanted our brushes :)

Next up Violet Voss to pick up their highlighter palette and snatch one of those amazingly cute bags.

Of course, I went to Sugarpill to get their Pretty Poison lipsticks and their liquid lipstick.

I was soo happy that there wasn't a big line.

And of course we couldn't go by the Sugarpill wall without taking a selfie, though we really didn't get much of the wall.

Another shot of Sugarpill

Then it was time for NYX craziness. There were a lot of new items that we needed to get.

Just a picture to remember the floor plan and schedule.

We passed some of the models getting their makeup did and looking fabulous.

Of course we did other things and visited other booths but I didn't take pictures of everything, I had shopping to do.

That's it! IMATS LA 2016 in a nutshell.

I shall count the days until next year, but for now I have to get back to work and make some money to replenish my bank account.

I recorded a haul video on my Youtube channel.

The haul video is also posted on my blog a few posts back.

Did you attend IMATS this year?
