Lorac Mega Pro 2 Palette Review and Swatches

I swatched the Lorac Mega Pro 2 Palette some time ago, but never uploaded the swatches to my blog.

Before we get to the swatches let's take a moment to admire the beauty that is the Lorac Mega Pro 2 Palette.

Maybe one more moment.

Ok now I'm focused.

All swatches were done on my bare arm in natural lighting (except the last shot of each set is done with flash) without any primer.

First Row, left to right - Porcelain, Custard, Tawny, Burlap, Melon, Tangerine, Saddle, and Forest

Second Row, left to right - Bisque, Lavender, Purple, Sorbet, Goji, Cabernet, Ash, and Black

Third Row - left to right - Sugar, Chiffo, Prosecco, Soft Plum, Cinnamon, Sandstone, Gunmetal, and Blue Quartz

Last Row, left to right - Moonlinght, Seashell, Peony, Dk. Sienna, Penny, Olivine, Gold Leaf, and Black Ivy

My favorite row in the palette has to be the last one.

Olivine is such a unique and gorgeous color and who could forget that Blue Quartz (and I don't even like blue shadows that much).

The eyeshadows are pigmented, very buttery smooth, and glide on while also blending quite easily.

I prefer this palette over the original Lorac Mega Pro Palette.

I feel like this one has much more of a color range.

Just like the first one it does come with 32 shades in shimmer and matte finishes.

Unlike the first palette, this one is still available for purchase online at

If you plan on purchasing them online, don't forget to go through Ebates first prior to purchasing.

Below is my referral link to Ebates (currently 3% cash back for Ulta for any of you who are interested in signing up.

First time Ebates users will earn a $10 cash back bonus when they make purchases totaling at least $25 within 90 days of signing up.

Who doesn't love earn free money that can then be used for buying more makeup?

It's genius really.

Below is the link to the palette if you already have an Ebates account.

Do you have the Lorac Mega Pro 2 Palette? Thoughts?
