Malibu Glitz Blushes and Swatches

In one of my recent Miss A hauls I briefly talked about how I hauled these beauties.

I am referring to the Malibu Glitz Blushes.

Let's look first at how these blushes got my attention in the first place.

Take a look at the picture below?

If you are pretty familiar with different makeup products out there then these may look a little familiar.

Don't these remind you of the Milani Rose Powder Blushes?

Granted the Milani ones have roses that are raised and these ones are more pressed flat into the blush.

Still they look pretty close.

These blushes again are by Malibu Glitz and they are only $1 each.

They come in 6 different selections, I picked up three (all of them are currently sold out on Miss A's website).

The ones I picked up from left to right are Peach (101-3), Amber Star (101-5), and Coral (101-6).

Amber Star

Swatched from left to right in lighting - Peach, Amber Star, and Coral.

All swatches were done on my bare arm with one swipe and blended out.

A closer look at the same swatches.

A different angle, same swatches

Ready for my opinion?

After swatching them I can say I like them (I am gonna wait to actually wear them before I say I love them. It seems only fair).

They are first gorgeous with their rose pattern.

Second they are pigmented and blend out nicely.

Third, their scent is fine. It smells like it has a light makeup powder scent.

Peach and Coral are shimmers and Amber Star is more of a satin.

The shimmers can be blended out to be more subtle.

Lastly, they are only $1.

As I mentioned earlier they are currently sold out, but be on the lookout for a possible restock at

I will try to wear them soon so that I can come back and give an update on their wearability.

Have you seen them on Miss A's website? Better yet have you tried them? Thoughts?

  1. I live in the UK, and I've just ordered all six of these. IM SO EXCITED!
They look gorgeous, and I've shown a friend of mine your images ( a little more appealing than the Shop Miss A ones, along with the swatches, and they thought they cost nearer the $10/£10 mark!

    1. I am so happy that the post helped you and that you picked them up. They are gorgeous blushes and I think you'll love them. I am excited to hear your experience with them. Thanks for checking out my blog.
