JEM and The Holograms Truly Outrageous Eyeshadow Palette and Swatches

Today I received my Sephora order that I placed on Saturday containing the JEM and The Holograms Truly Outrageous Eyeshadow Palette.

I was excited and couldn't wait to open up the palette and start a swatch fest.

I have to say that upon opening the palette initially I was a little disappointed.

That palette contains bright colors, but I thought they seemed a little dull.

My opinion quickly changed as I started swatching the eyeshadows.

The JEM and The Holograms Truly Outrageous Eyeshadow Palette contains nude, smokey, and neon shadows in shimmer, matte, satin, and glitter shades.

One neat aspect of that palette is that when I started photographing it the packaging around the shadows is a hologram. You can see the rainbow hologram below.

I know I kind of did things backwards by showing the inside of the palette first and now the palette in its packaging. Like I said I got excited.

Time for the swatches

All eyeshadows were swatched on my bare arm without primer.

My findings of the JEM and The Holograms Truly Outrageous Eyeshadow Palette:

- Love the packaging! It is very 80's and reminds me of my childhood and JEM and The Holograms.

-Travel friendly

-Huge mirror

-Palette is arranged with lowest pigmentation in 1st row and highest pigmented in 4th row.

-Eyeshadows are pigmented, but most pigmented are the darker shimmer shades.

-Some of the eyeshadows are chalky, Starlight in particular, but are workable when blended.

-Mix of neutral, smokey, and neon shades in shimmer, satin, matte, and glitter finishes.

I like the palette and am curious to use it to create a look.

I am dying to use Pizzazz, it is beautiful.

I think that this palette is not necessarily a must have for everyone, but definitely a must for a collector.

The palette is still available online at sephora.com via this link http://www.sephora.com/jem-the-holograms-truly-outrageous-eyeshadow-palette-P402123?skuId=1744358 for $39.
