Stila Eyes are the Window Palette in Soul & Swatches

After having this palette on my wishlist and seeing it everywhere online, I finally forked out the money to get this palette.

I actually had some Ulta points saved, which softened the blow of purchasing this palette.

The palette I am referring to is by Stila. It is one of the new Eyes are the Window Palettes in Soul.

The Soul Palette has rose gold packaging and contains neutral shades.

With the Soul Palette you get 12 neutral shades, 5 mattes, 6 shimmers, and a matte with micro glitter.

Out of the 4 palettes in this collection, this one was the one that caught my attention. The colors look amazing.

Swatched left to right - Light, Kitten, Thought, Vitality, Individual, Affection, Heart, Substance, Being, Character, Peace, and Essence.

Another picture, swatched in the same order as above.

After swatching this palette, I have to say that so far I am impressed with it. I swatched it over Bare Minerals 5 in 1 eyeshadow which does stay beige on the arm. I couldn't find my e.l.f. primer which blends into the skin without leaving color. The swatches probably would of come out a little better with the e.l.f. primer.

I haven't used the shadows yet to create a look, but plan on doing so very soon and will put up a post with the look. So far I have to say that I am pleased with the shadows. They are smooth, pigmented, and blend nicely. The only shade that was patchy was Essence (matte black) but after I layered it the color was fine.

The only downside with this palette is that it is very similar to the Stila In the Light Palette that is very popular. I will have another post showing the duplicate shades and swatches of both.

Did you pick up any of the Stila Eyes are the Window Palettes? Which is your favorite?
