MAC Brooke Shields Gravitas Palette

With all of the new MAC Collections coming out which seems to be every time you turn around, its very hard and expensive to keep up with them.

Lately I have been just buying things from MAC that I know I will use that I don't have the same shades or colors in my makeup collection.

When I first saw the Brooke Shields Collection months ago I already knew what I was picking up.

I picked up the 15 pan Gravitas palette and I am glad I did. It is a cool toned eyeshadow palette that has a great range of shades that are perfect for Fall.

It is currently sold out on MAC's website and sold out rather quickly with its $85 price tag.

If you missed out on its release online it will be available for sale in MAC Stores on Oct 2nd.

The Gravitas Palette comes with the following eyeshadows:

Pretty - Soft Golden Peachy Beige

Soft Brown - Soft Golden Peachy Brown (P)

Expensive Pink - Pink with Gold Duochrome (P)

Carbon - Intense Black (P)

Shroom - Soft Beige with Shimmer (P)

Persuade - Mid-Tone Cool Grey Brown

7 of the 15 shades are permanent MAC shades. They are the ones listed below with (P) after their description.

Were you able to pick up the MAC Brooke Shields Gravitas Palette or are you still planning on getting it?

Lorac The Royal Collection - Sneak Peek

Something exciting is just around the corner.

The Lorac Collection for the holidays is called the Royal Collection and it features the highly anticipated Lorac Mega Pro Palette.

What's even better is that it is set to be released in a few days, October 1st to be exact.

Excitement levels are high and most likely even higher after the most recent Youtube video from Lorac that gives us a sneak peek into The Royal Collection.

One of the first items we see in the video is a 6 piece Royal Lip Lustre Creme Assortment.

Next we see four 3D Liquid Lustres.

Of course, we catch glimpses of the Mega Prop Palette.

We are provided fast peeks at four eyeshadow quads, which remind me of the Lorac Eye Candy Collection from their 2012 holiday collection.

The quads are appropriately named after royalty with the names Queen, Princess, Countess, and Duchess.

I am not sure if these will be sold individually or as a set.

There is another eyeshadow palette or what looks like a quad in the collection.

Below are more items in the collection as well as Full Face 8 piece collection.

Here's some good news.

The 6 piece Royal Lip Lustre Creme Assortment ($25) and the Royal Red Carpet Full Face 8 piece Collection($39) are both currently on sale at HSN's website.

Here is the link to purchase either set

Ulta and Sephora Exclusive Tarte Sweet Dreams Holiday Sets

One tough decision this holiday season is trying to decide which holiday sets to get.

Some makeup brands will have holiday sets that are exclusive to either Sephora or Ulta.

They are all different and therefore you are left with three choices. One, you can buy the set from Ulta, two you can buy the set from Sephora, or three you can't decide, so you buy them both.

Tarte is one of these makeup brands that has two different Sweet Dreams holiday sets.

The Tarte holiday set that is exclusive to Ulta this year is called the Away Oui Go Portable Palette & Collector's Set.

It comes with 4 separate eye and cheek palettes (each contains 4 shadows and a blush). This allows you to snap them into a travel palette to take on the go. The set comes stored in a Tarte jewelry box.

Besides the 16 Amazonian Clay eyeshadows and 4 Amazonian Clay blushes (Irresistible - Soft Melon, Envisioned - Coral, Limitless - Peach Coral, and Intrigue - Rose Petal), the set comes with 3 deluxe Maracuja lip glosses and a deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara.

The Maracuja lip glosses are in Paris - Raspberry, Cannes - Light Pink, and Nice - Nude Mauve.

The Away Oui Go Portable Palette & Collector's Set is $48 and can be purchased on Ulta's website via this link

The Tarte holiday set that is exclusive to Sephora is called the Bon Voyage Collector's Set and Travel Bag.

It has a Vintage Parisian theme as does the Pin-up Girl blush palette.

It comes with an Amazonian Clay eyeshadow palette with the following 20 shades:

Palace Of Versailles

Moulin Rouge

I Think I Cannes

My Own Cotes De Rhone

Boudoir Noir

Fall In Louvre

Provence Upon ATime

Eiffel For You

Too Haute Too Handle

Bastille In The Night

Chantilly Lace

Merci You Later

No Champagne, No Gain

Take On Bordeaux

French Riviera

C'est La Vie

Marseille The Word

Play Nice

On A Good Notre Dame

Le Cordon Bleu

It also comes with:

A deluxe Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara

A limited edition cheek stain in Muse - Nude

A LipSurgence lip gloss in Visionary - Apricot

A LipSurgence lip tint in Romantic - Peachy Nude

A deluxe Maracuja Oil

A deluxe Smooth Operator Amazonian Clay finishing powder

and of course, a travel bag.

The Bon Voyage Collector's Set and Travel Bag is $59 and can be purchased on Sephora's website via this link

Which will you be picking up this holiday season?

I am still undecided. I don't know if I am going to go with option 1, 2, or both.

Tarte Pin-Up Girl Blush Palette

Last year's Tarte holiday blush palette, Off the Cuff was a huge success.

I have no doubt that this year's Tarte holiday blush palette, Pin-up Girl will be no exception.

The Pin-up Girl blush palette by Tarte is a limited edition Sephora exclusive for the holidays.

It comes with 5 Amazonian Clay blushes.

Breathless - Pink Beige

Embraced - Plum Rose

Whimsy - Light Pink

Bashful - Rose Pink

Irreplaceable - Mauve Rose

It also comes with two pair pins, one with rhinestones and the other with pearls.

The clutch has a vintage look that is perfect for any classy girl this holiday season.

It is $42.00 and can be purchased online on Sephora's site via the link below.

Is the Tarte Pin-up Girl blush palette on your Christmas list this holiday?

e.l.f. Disney Good Vs. Evil

It's here.

The next e.l.f. Disney Collection.

It is Good Vs. Evil, which I predicted based on the Conair Good vs. Evil compact that I found at Walgreens.

It is Sleeping Beauty which contains Aurora and Maleficient.

The collection thus far appears to be smaller than some of the past collections.

I have seen the Conair compact, Kiss nail kits, Let the Drama Begin Beauty Book and Brush Collection.

I believe there are also makeup bags, but I haven't seen those yet.

The Let the Drama Begin Beauty Book and Brush Collection are currently both available for $10.00 each on

Below is the link to purchase them.

I haven't yet purchased any of these items from the Good vs. Evil collection and am still yet undecided as to whether I will. I feel like it isn't as exciting as the past Ariel and Snow White Collections.

What do you think?

Too Faced Sugar & Spice

Continuing with holiday collections, Too Faced's Ulta exclusive palette is called Sugar & Spice.

It has the same packaging as the Everything Nice set that is exclusive to Sephora.

The Sugar & Spice palette comes with 12 neutral shades that can be used for day and night looks.

It comes with a festive gold glitter makeup bag that can also double as a clutch and a Better than Sex mascara.

The shadows are:

Champagne Truffle

Bon Bon

Coconut Cream

Cinnamon Sugar

Chocolate Cake

Black Licorice

Pink Frosting

Sugared Violet

I feel like the shades in this palette look similar to those in the Chocolate Bar palette.

What do you think?

Who am I kidding you can never have enough neutral palettes and Too Faced has some of the best quality shadows.

It is a limited edition set for the holidays and is $39.

If you plan on getting it you have to grab it before its gone, which means you may have to bypass asking Santa for it this Christmas and grab it yourself.

Are you Everything Nice or Sugar & Spice?

Sleek Makeup Eye & Cheek Palettes - 1st Look

New to Sleek Makeup this past week are Eye & Cheek Palettes.

They come in two different choices, Dancing Til Dusk and See you at Midnight.

Dancing Til Dusk contains eyeshadows from Sleek's Au Naturel i-Divine Palette.

See you at Midnight contains eyeshadows from the Romance i-Divine Palette.

With these palettes you have one for a day at the office and one for a night on the town.

Each contains 4 shadows and 2 blushes and they are $14.99 each.

These are great for travel, just throw them in your bag and go.

Order them this weekend and you will receive 15% off of your order.

Which Eye & Cheek Palette is your favorite?

Milani Constellation Gel Liners & Swatches

After weeks of searching with no success for the beauty that is the Milani Constellation gel liners, they finally became available on Milani's website.

I didn't hesitate to grab two of them and at $5.99 each that is a great deal.

My last resort was going to be to purchase them on ebay, but they were running $15.99 each and I didn't want to have to pay that much for them.

The pictures really don't do the Constellation gel liners justice.

They are pure beauty with their constellation of colors and sparkle that will remind you of the night sky.

I picked up Enchanted Black Opal and Enchanted Emerald. The other that I skipped on is a blue one that is called Enchanted Lapis.

Swatches left to right - Enchanted Black Opal and Enchanted Emerald

I can't wait to use these beauties, especially after swatching them.

Have you picked up any of the Milani Constellation gel liners? Thoughts?

Below is the link to check them out.

The Balm Nude Dude Palette - 1st Look

The Balm has released a 2nd palette in their Nude series.

The first is of course the Nude Tude palette and the new palette is called the Nude Dude palette.

The Nude Dude palette has the same naughty display as the first one, but this time instead of it having pictures of cartoon women it has cartoon men.

It's cute packaging. Of course it is decent and the eyeshadows in the palette cover the men's bodies and you just see their faces and legs.

The Nude Dude palette contains the same number of shadows as its predecessor palette, Nude Tude.

I feel like the shadows in the Nude Tude palette may be similar to the Nude Dude palette, but they do have different names.

The shades are:

The palette is currently only available at Kohl's online and is $39.50. It comes with a Body Builder mascara.

As a palette collector, I feel like I definitely need to get this palette so that my Nude Tude palette won't be lonely.

Is the Nude Dude Palette from the Balm a get or pass for you?

Anastasia Beverly Hills Tamanna Palette

I don't know if I am alone in this, but I feel totally left out.

Anastasia Beverly Hills has released 3 palettes now in the span of a couple of months and I have yet to get one of them.

First it was the Amrezy Palette, then the Maya Mia Palette, and now they have released a Tamanna Palette.

The Tamanna Palette was created in collaboration with the makeup artist Tamanna Roashan. She is known as @dressyourface on Instagram.

The palette contains a combination of warm and cool toned shades as well as nude and jewel toned shades.

I can't decide which palette to get as I feel that they are all similar.

The Tamanna Palette is available on ABH's website for $29.

Which is your favorite Anastasia Beverly Hills collaboration palette? Amrezy, Maya Mia, or Tamanna?
