L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint Review & Swatches

I can't praise the Glazed Lip Paints by L.A. Girl enough.

They are amazing.

Amazing.

They amaze me.

They are compared over and over again to the Melted Lipsticks by Too Faced.

When Too Faced released the Melted Lipsticks I must admit that I wanted to try them. Ok I wanted them all but hey that is the life of a makeup addict/makeup hoarder.

I looked at them on Too Faced's website, saw their price, and immediately dismissed them for the moment.

Granted $21 isn't ridiculous for great lipstick, but MAC lipsticks range from $16 - $22. So I convinced myself they can wait.

Then I saw L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints and I fell in love.

I saw their price and I knew we were meant to be.

I ordered three of the six shades.

I eagerly awaited my order.

They arrived and I swatched them.

I couldn't believe my eyes, their pigmentation and consistency is amazing.

Granted the applicator on the Melted Lipsticks is probably more practical, since it is a sponge tip and not messy. The applicator on the Glazed Lip Paints is just like a typical lip gloss, which can get messy especially since these are liquid, but just as with anything, practice makes perfect.

You learn to not apply too much pressure and slowly apply the product and then move it around your lips with your finger or a lip brush.

These actually do dry a little bit so they are not as wet as when you first apply them.

I recommend applying a lip liner because since these are liquid they can feather.

The lasting power on these is amazing and can be even longer over a lip primer.

The picture below shows the swatches with one swipe.

I have since bought a Melted Lipstick from Too Faced and must say that in all aspects I prefer the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints.

I plan on getting the other three shades and have a hard time picking a favorite.

Do you have any of the Glazed Lip Paints from L.A. Girl? Which is your favorite?
