My favorite palette by BH Cosmetics, hands down, is the Party Girl Palette.
I adore this palette so much in fact that I actually bought a replacement palette.
My first palette had been through so much use and abuse that I wanted to pick up another one before it is no longer available since it is a limited edition palette.
If you haven't yet seen or heard of this palette I included a picture below.
The BH Party Girl Palette has a range of colors in a range of finishes. They look amazing over a primer and base and last all day long.
I figured since I was going to use one of my favorite palettes to create a look that I would create a look using my favorite color, yellow.
Here's what I came up with, a look I call Bright Eyes.
I primed my eyes with Urban Decay's Primer Potion and applied Mac's Painterly Paint Pot as my eyeshadow base.
Next I lightly applied the white shimmer (2nd row, 1st color) to my brow bone and the inner corner of my eyes.
Then I blended the light beige shimmer (1st row, 10th color) to my crease to use as a transition shade.
Over that shade I blended a bronze shimmer (1st row, 3rd color).
Next I packed on the yellow matte (1st row, 7th color) to my lid and blended up against my crease.
Then I took a matte brown (1st row, 6th color) and blended it into the outer V of my eye.
I lined my top lid with black liner and made a slight wing.
I curled my lashes and applied mascara.
Lastly I lined under my eye with the light blue shimmer ( 3rd row, 10th color)
Yellow is definitely a color that can be difficult to use in a look, but I think if you pair it with neutral colors that it comes out nicely.
What do you think of using yellow to create a look?
