Kleancolor Lipsticks - Tingling Mimosa and Oro Swatches

In my most recent Miss A haul, I ordered 2 of the Kleancolor lipsticks.

I had been hearing a lot about them from different social media sites and with all of the mixed reviews I decided to give them a try.

First off when they were delivered they sat in my mailbox for a couple of hours and thus were slightly melted. I stuck them in the freezer for about 10 minutes and they were good as new.

I can honestly say that after swatching them and trying them on that I too have mixed reviews on them.

Let's start with the positive.

-Inexpensive = Afforadable

-Great for someone on a budget who wants to build up their collection.

-Easy application

-Big color selection

-Strong perfume smell

-Waxy crayon texture

So far with the shades that I have, Tingling Mimosa (Orange) and Oro (Gold) the pigmentation is great. The color glides on evenly.

My main gripe or con with them is their strong perfume smell. It is the kind that you can taste on your lips and feel in your throat. Don't get my wrong there is absolutely nothing wrong with smelling like perfume, but it isn't appealing on the lips. I mean who wants to associate lipstick with perfume? Now give me vanilla or strawberry and I am a happy camper.

I can even tolerate feeling like I am applying crayon to my lips with their waxy texture. I am going to keep using them since I do like the pigmentation, but at the same time these will not be my daily go to lip products.

Swatched left to right - Tingling Mimosa and Oro

I ordered some more of them and will be post swatches of them when I receive them.

If you are interested in trying them out, below is the link for Miss A where I purchased them.

Have you tried the Kleancolor lipsticks? What are your thoughts?

Miss A Haul #2

Hi, my name is Tiffany and I am addicted to not only makeup, but now Miss A.

I recently posted a haul from Miss A.

They are an online accessory and makeup store.

They sell trendy items that are all only $1.

How could one not become addicted?

This time around I picked up a couple of makeup items in addition to hair accessories and jewelry.

Here's what I got:

7 Necklaces - a gold lace bow, a silver lace butterfly, a layered pearl silvered necklace, a layered crystal ball necklace, a silver heart key necklace, a silver and green bow necklace, and a silver mirror necklace.

6 Sets of Earrings - silver bow earrings, yellow and silver double butterfly earrings, green bow earrings, mint green bird and ladybug earrings, yellow bow earrings, and silver red heart earrings.

1 Bracelet - pearl bracelet with green bows.

1 Ring - giant yellow crystal flower

Hair Accessories - a set of green flowers, a sunflower bun rubberband, and a mint lace flower headband.

2 Kleancolor Lipsticks - Tingling Mimosa and Oro

I have to admit that I do have one more haul from Miss A on the way (that rhymed). It is mostly a makeup haul as I ordered all 12 of the Kleancolor Ms. Chick Blushes and 8 more of the Kleancolor lipsticks.

Have you checked out the Miss A website yet?

Sleek Makeup i-Divine Rio Rio Palette and Swatches

I can't rave about Sleek Makeup eyeshadows enough.

They are one of the highest pigmented shadows for the price. The palettes are $11.99 and they contain 12 eyeshadows, most of which are matte and shimmer combinations.

They always get me with their palettes. They release limited edition palettes quite frequently that you have to hurry and get before they are gone for good.

When I received an email from Sleek Makeup announcing the release of the Rio Rio Palette, I initially thought that it reminded me of the Acid Palette with its vibrant colors. I have a soft spot for intense colors so I ordered the palette.

The Rio Rio Palette is inspired by the colors seen at the Rio Carnival. It contains base shades, highlighting shades, transition shades, pop of colors shades, and smoky shades.

Below are swatches of the palette over NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk.

Swatches from bottom to top - Tropics, Cachaca, Night Fever, City of God, Ipanema, Copacabana, Caipirinha, Sao Conrado, Urca, Bossa Nova, Leblon, and Leme.

After swatching these shades and seeing the colors I can't wait to create a look with them.

Currently Sleek Makeup is having a Labor Day Sale, which will give you 20% off of any order when you enter the code GIVEME20 at check out.

Below is the link to purchase the Rio Rio Palette.

MAC The Simpsons Collection

After months of anticipation, The Simpsons Collection by MAC was released today. It marks the 25th year anniversary of the Simpsons.

Any makeup lover that has purchased a limited edition MAC collection online knows the nightmare that it can be.

The collections are released at any time and a lot of times the items are available but don't show in the new collections portion of the website. Usually you have to search the website based on the name of one of the items in the collection, which will then enable you to purchase the items.

This morning when I received the email from MAC notifying me that the collection was available online I was shocked to find that none of the items in The Simpsons Collection were sold out.

The Collection is actually quite small, containing 2 eyeshadow quads, a lash set, 4 tinted lipglasses. 2 blushes, and nail stickers.

The eyeshadow quads are $44 each.

The first eyeshadow quad is called That Trillon Dollar Look Quad, which contains 4 green shades.

The second eyeshadow quad is called Marge's Extra Ingredients and it contains a pink, purple, and blue shades.

The lashes are $18.50 and are called the 7 Lash.

The lipglasses are $16.50.

The orange shade is called Grand Pumpkin.

Red Blazer is the red shade.

Itchy & Scratchy & Sexy is the purple shade.

There is a yellow called Nacho Cheese Explosion, which I have heard is very sheer.

The blushes are $24 each.

The first blush is called Pink Sprinkles and it is a pink blush.

The second blush is called Sideshow You and it is a coral shade.

Last in the collection are the nail stickers.

They are $16.50

After the first day of its release there are still items available in the collection.

The items that are currently sold out are the lashes, Red Blazer Lipglass, and Itchy & Scratchy Sexy Lipglass.

I was tempted to pick up the That Trillion Dollar Look Quad and the Sideshow You Blush, but I decided to just get the Red Blazer and Itchy & Scratchy & Sexy Lipglasses

If you want an item that is sold out you will have another chance when the collection is released at MAC stores, Macy's and Nordstroms.

Smashbox On the Rocks Photo Op Eyeshadow Palette

Smashbox has released a new palette called the On the Rocks Photo Op Eyeshadow Palette.

It is exclusive to Ulta.

It has 12 eyeshadows that are the most popular shades from Smashbox's Photo Op eyeshadows.

This palette contains nudes and jewel toned shades that are perfect for every day and night.

I love the look of this palette and when I first saw this palette it reminded me of the tarte for True Blood Palette from tarte cosmetics.

The palette is $36 and can be purchased via the link below

The Smashbox On the Rocks Palette is definitely appealing to the eye.

What do you think of this palette?

Naked 3 & Milani Bella Eyes

For today's Makeup of the Day I used my Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette and a couple of the new Milani Bella Eyes eyeshadows.

Here's how I created this look:

I primed my lids with Urban Decay Primer Potion and then applied MAC's Painterly Paint Pot as a base.

Next I applied Strange from the Naked 3 Palette to my brow bone as a highlight.

Taking Milani's Bella Eyes in Bella Cappuccino I blended that into my crease as a transition color.

Then I applied Buzz from the Naked 3 Palette to the 1st half of my lid up to the crease and under the 1st two thirds of my eye.

I took Milani's Bella Teal and blended that into the 2nd half of my lid up to the crease. I also brought this shade under the last third under my eye.

I patted Dust from the Naked 3 Palette onto the inner corner of my eye.

I lined close to my lash line with an Almay eyeliner called Brown Topaz.

I then lined my top lid with L'Oreal's Infallible eyeliner in Bronze.

I curled my lashes and applied Too Faced's Lashgasm mascara.

Milani's Bella Teal has quickly become one of my favorite Bella Eyes eyeshadows. It is absolutely gorgeous. It looks phenomenal paired with the Rose shades from the Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette.

L.A. Girl New Glazed Lip Paints and Swatches

To say I am a huge fan of the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints is an understatement.

What's more than a fan?

I guess I am a L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paint stalker.

I only stalked them for a short time though because I bought them as soon as they came out. I guess that makes me more of an obsessor.

At first I told myself I was just going to buy a couple of them, but that was such a hard decision trying to decide which I would get and which would be left out.

Well I was in no mood to leave a Lip Paint behind so I did what any well minded person would do and I adopted them all giving them all a home.

Aren't they adorable?

From left to right - Whisper, Elude, Flirt, Peony, Whimsical, Tango, Tease, Daring, Seduce, Tempt, Feisty, and Gleam.

These 12 new Glazed Lip Paints all have the same consistency and packaging as the original Glazed Lip Paints. Why fix what isn't broken?

The only difference is that one of them, Tease, has micro glitter in it.

I mentioned in a previous post on the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints that I purchased them as a set of 12 from Lady Moss online at for $35 + tax and shipping. I ordered them this past weekend and received them on Monday.

I am looking forward to having different colored lips for the next 12 days.

What do you think of the colors of the new L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints? Which is your favorite?

Lorac Mega Pro Palette - Sneak Peek

When I was scrolling my Instagram feed earlier this morning, I came across a post from the lovely @beautylogicblog and I stopped breathing (only for a short moment, no need to be alarmed).

When I regained oxygen intake, my first reaction was to doubt what I was seeing.

You know how sometimes you are surfing the net and you come across bogus items that aren't for real. So I was hesitant at first to believe my eyes.

When the shock wore off I started accepting what I was seeing.

The next question was when does this come out? (It is rumored to be released in November, Yay! Right before Christmas). I don't even care what it will cost. I just know that it is lovely and I want it. No, I need it.

This lovely palette pictured below is by Lorac, which you can probably tell by the packaging, appearance of the shadows, and the AC reflected in the mirror (from the name LORAC) and the PR on the side of the palette (for PRO).

This palette contains 32 eyeshadows. That would be the equivalent of putting your Lorac Pro Palette and Lorac Pro 2 Palettes together (since each has 16 eyeshadows).

What's even more exciting is that a lot of these shades look new. Besides that it looks like you have your neutrals, jewel tones, smokey shades, plus your basic black and white shades.

Want more good news about this palette?

It's rumored to only be $59.

What do you think of the Lorac Mega Pro Palette?

Pictures from @beautylogicblog

Is it November yet?

Update: Lorac has announced that the Mega Pro Palette will now release in October. So now the question is, is it October yet?

Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette & Swatches

Today when I arrived home I found my Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 Palette patiently waiting for me on my porch.

I was so excited I could hardly contain myself.

I know my fellow makeup addicts can relate.

It is like Christmas, but in this case you receive a gift from yourself to yourself.

You are already planning on the various looks you will create using your new gift.

I knew that when Urban Decay announced they were releasing a second palette in the Naked Basics series that I was going to get it.

The original Naked Basics palette is so versatile that I use it almost every single day whether it is alone or in conjunction with other eyeshadows. I use it to highlight the brow bone and inner corner of my eyes as well as on the crease, for blending, and for transition shades.

Of course I was going to want another palette just like that. This time around the Naked Basics 2 palette has shades that resemble the Naked 2 Palette. They are cooler toned shades than the original Naked Basics.

You still get 6 shades, 5 matte and one satin. The packaging is a little bit smaller, but still has all of the same characteristics of the original Naked Basics Palette that we all know and love.

Swatches from left to right - Skimp, Stark, Frisk, Cover, Primal, and Undone

Another picture, swatched in the same order as above

After swatching them I noticed that Stark is so close to my skin tone that it pretty much blends in. This will be the perfect shade to aid in blending out the harsh lines of other eyeshadows. I also noticed that these shades seemed more buttery smooth than the original Naked Basics.

The palette is currently available for $29 on Urban Decay's website (link below)

Look for it in the future at Sephora, Ulta, and anywhere Urban Decay is sold.

Have you picked up your Naked Basics 2 yet?

Recently I came across this amazing online website called Miss A.

They carry tons of items ranging from necklaces, bracelets, earrings, rings, to hair accessories and even makeup.

Have you heard of Miss A?

Burnt Orange and The Kat Von D Monarch Palette

I am a huge fan of the Kat Von D Monarch Palette for a couple of reasons.

One, it is gorgeous with it's neutral colors.

Two, the burnt orange matte shade called Wrath, which has become my favorite shade in the palette.

Three, the stunning butterfly artwork on the packaging.

Four, shadows that blend like a dream.

I used it yesterday to create this Burnt Orange look.

Brow bone - Entomolgy (ivory matte)

Inner corner and lid - Telepathy (white gold shimmer)

Crease up to under the brow bone - Vanish (gray toned beige matte)

Crease and under the eye - Wrath (burnt orange matte)

The Kat Von D Monarch Palette has become one of my favorite makeup palettes.

Did you pick this palette up?

A couple Urban Decay Naked Looks

I would never want to imagine a world that didn't include Urban Decay's Naked Palettes.

Thank my lucky stars that I never have to.

I love the Urban Decay Naked Palettes. They are great palettes with their range of matte and shimmer shades that are great quality.

I use them on a weekly basis for quick and gorgeous everyday looks.

This past week I used the Naked and Naked 2 Palettes to create 2 different looks.

First up, the Naked Palette.

Brow bone and inner corner - Virgin

Crease - Naked & Buck

First 3rd of the lid up to the crease - Sin

Middle of the lid and under the eye - Toasted

Outer corner, outer lid, and under the eye - Hustle

Next, Naked 2

Brow bone and inner corner - Foxy & Bootycall

Crease - Tease

First 3rd of the lid up to the crease - Bootycall

Middle of the lid and under the eye - Half Baked

Outer corner, outer lid, and under the eye - Snakebite

I used to think the Urban Decay Naked 2 Palette was my favorite, but I feel like I use all three Naked 3 Palettes equally. I guess it depends on my mood.

Which is your favorite Naked Palette?

Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette - Alice

I was an Alice in Wonderland fan before I was a makeup fan.

It's true.

It even inspired my blog name, Tiffany in Makeupland, My Life in Makeupland. I consider it a land because my world is consumed with all things makeup and it is such an integral part of my life.

One day, some time back in 2012, I happened to be browsing ebay for Alice in Wonderland items and I stumbled upon the Urban Decay Alice in Wonderland Palette.

I said hello and convinced myself it would be mine, even if it cost me $200.

See at this time it was no longer available to purchase anywhere else since it was a limited edition item that came out around the release of the Alice in Wonderland movie with Johnny Depp.

Anyway, I bought it at the time as an avid Alice in Wonderland lover.

When it arrived something strange happened, I would say it launched my makeup birth. I saw the colors of the shadows with all of the glitter and sparkle glory and I fell in love at first sight.

I knew a transformation had taken place and that great things were going to happen. That day I became obsessed with makeup and since then I have added almost 200 eyeshadow palettes to my collection.

What can I say? I have truly found something that I am passionate about and that makes me happy.

This is truly one of my favorite palettes, but ironically it has only been used twice. I love it so much that I don't want to ruin it. I know it sounds ridiculous.

I decided to use it recently to create a neutral look with a pop of blue, that I call Alice.

To create this look I applied White Rabbit (white shimmer with silver glitter) to my brow bone and inner corner.

Next I applied Muchness (peach gold shimmer) as a transition shade in my crease.

Then I applied Chessur (beige shimmer with silver glitter) in the right half of my crease.

Next I applied Mad Hatter (brown matte with silver sparkle) to my outer v.

Lastly I patted Alice (vibrant blue shimmer) on my lid.

I lined under my eye with White Rabbit, Alice, and Mad Hatter.

I applied Maybelline Eyestudio Eyeliner in Blackest Black to my top lid, Too Faced Lashgasm mascara to my top lashes, L'Oreal's Lash Out Butterfly mascara on my bottom lashes, and Urban Decay 24/7 Velvet eyeliner in Black Velvet to my waterline.

Have you seen this palette?

Makeup Geek - Vegas Lights Palette

Makeup Geek has announced a new palette called Vegas Lights, which will be releasing around August 25th.

It contains 6 eyeshadows, 5 of which are new.

They are Casino, Sin City, Roulette, Mirage, Desert Sands, and Bada Bing.

They are all gorgeous shades many of them having gold in them.

It will be $37.99.

I love the Vegas Concept and as a huge lover of all eyeshadows gold, I feel this is a must have. It is a limited edition collection, so if you want it you are going to have to grab it before it's gone.

They are currently having a pre-order for the palette, click on the link below and enter your email address to receive an invite to purchase the palette once it is released.

What do you think of the Vegas Lights Palette? Am I the only one that sees the name and instantly starts singing Panic at the Disco's Vegas Lights?

The pictures below are from Makeup Geek's website

New Shades of L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints

L.A. Girl really hit the jackpot when they created their Glazed Lip Paints.

The original collection introduced 6 shades of highly pigmented lip products that apply like a lip gloss, but look like a lipstick.

If that wasn't enough L.A. Girl made them in gorgeous vibrant shades, that are long lasting that look amazing once applied, smell like peppermint heaven, and are so affordable at $4 each that it's just ridiculous.

They are constantly compared to the Too Faced Melted Lipsticks and I must say that in my opinion I prefer the L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints. They are more hydrating on the lips.

I love that hours after you have applied them that remnants of the colors still remain on your lips, telling the world that yes, I am fabulous and my lips are too.

Then as if my love for Glazed Lip Paints could go no further, L.A. Girl released not 1, not 3, not even 6, but 12 more shades.

I was so obsessed with the thought of these and after seeing the picture below from Lady Moss, I gave in and bought all 12 of them on their website.

They currently have a great deal online where you can purchase all 12 new shades for $35.99 not including shipping and tax which is about another $8, which is still cheaper than being each of them on L.A. Girl's website ate $4 each plus tax and shipping which is around another $10.

Here is the link to purchase them on the Lady Moss website

L.A. Girl posted this picture on their Instagram page, which shows swatches of all of the Glazed Lip Paints, including the 6 older ones and the 12 new ones.

Here is another picture from Lady Moss, which shows the full collection of 18 L.A. Girl Glazed Lip Paints. It is on sale too at $52.99 + tax and shipping on their website.

I am still missing Blushing, Coy, and Babydoll, which I have to get since I love them so much and I highly recommend them to anyone who has yet to experience the greatness which is Glazed Lip Paint by L.A. Girl.

For anyone interested, here is the link to L.A. Girl's website where you can also purchase them also

It is hard for my to pick my favorite Glazed Lip Paint and I can't wait to try the new colors. I will post swatches sometime next week once I receive them.

Which is your favorite Glazed Lip Paint? Will you be picking up any of the new shades?

Milani Constellation Eyeliners - Sneak Peek

Milani posted the picture below on their Instagram and I was immediately in awe.

The picture is of their soon to be released for Fall, Constellation Eyeliners.

uh, yes please!

These look amazing with their speckled colors.

I could just imagine how you maybe able to apply this differently based on whether you pick up one color on your brush or swirl them together.

I can't wait to get my hands on these and with Fall just around the corner, I may not have to wait much longer.

What do you think?

Sephora Chroma Color Eye Palette

Sephora has a lot of new products.

One of which is a VIB Rouge Exclusive and of course is limited edition.

It is called the Chroma Color Eye Palette.

It comes with 54 eyeshadows and 12 eye pencils.

The shades of the shadows pretty much cover the colors of the rainbow and even go beyond that with a huge selection of neutrals. Whether you love a bright look, a smoked out look, or an everyday neutral look the Chroma Color Eye Palette has something for everyone.

It is $65 and is available on Sephora online to all VIB Rouge members while supplies last.

I think I will be passing on this one this time around since it looks similar to the Sephora Color Anthology minus the pencils, that I bought last year (and still have only used once).

Here is the link if anyone is interested in picking it up

tarte Amazonian Clay Palette V2

Sephora currently has the new tarte Limited Edition Amazonian Clay Palette V2, which is a limited edition palette that is only available online.

It is also the next item on my wishlist, which I will hopefully be picking up next week since I just ordered the Urban Decay Naked Basics 2 and one of the Stila Eyes are the Window Palettes.

It is also another neutral palette that I by no means need, but I only have two tarte palettes in my makeup collection, and therefore this justifies picking it up.

tarte eyeshadows have a great consistency and they blend effortlessly. Also, just by looking at this picture these shadows look amazing in pigment and color.

The palette is currently $38 and can be purchased online at Sephora via this link

Who could resist?

My OCC Lip Tar Collection

I must admit that I was late jumping on the OCC Lip Tar wagon. I only started buying them about a year ago.

I started out my collection with Grandma, which is a coral color and I have to say that it is still my favorite Lip Tar hands down.

Then of course I had to get Clear which acts as a lip primer and when applied under a Lip Tar allows for the easy application of any other Lip Tar applied on top of it.

Next I picked up a set of 3 at Sephora which contained Harlot (neon red matte), Nylon (bright pink matte), and Trollop (pinked coral matte).

Then I picked up another Lip Tar set from Sephora, which contained 12 All-Star mini Lip Tars, which really expanded my Lip Tar collection.

It came with Clear, Pris (pale champagne metallic), Divine (flamingo pink matte), Psycho (blood red matte), Stalker (blue based red matte), Clockwork (burnt orange creme matte), Strumpet (grape red matte), Yaoi (fuschia metallic), Lovecraft (pink lilac metallic), Super NSFW (gold laced red metallic), Electric Grandma (coral frost metallic), and Authentic (bronze copper frost metallic).

At IMATS LA 2014, I picked up Feathered (pure white matte), Rollergirl (lavender purple matte), and Mannequin (malibu pink matte).

Lastly, at PHAMExpo 2014, I picked up 3 of the new Stained Gloss Lip Tars in Dune (light beige with gold shimmer), Off World (pearlescent metallic shimmer) , and Aurora (pink coral gloss).

That brings my current OCC Lip Tar Collection up to 23.

I highly recommend OCC Lip Tars. They are one of my favorite lip products. They are highly pigmented and long lasting. Have an excellent range of color options and different finishes. They also have awesome names. For example, if someone asks you what you are wearing on your lips, who wouldn't want to answer "Harlot."

They can be quite pricey at $18 for a full size, but they are always on sale at the makeup shows at $10 a piece.

How many OCC Lip Tars are in your collection?

LA Splash Electric Eyeliners

Yes please, Electric eyeliners!!!

LA Splash has announced their new electric neon eyeliners.

I can already imagine these paired up with a neutral look.

These would be the ultimate pop of colors.

They are limited edition and come in 7 colors, which are Royal Blue, Purple Tide, Toxic Lime, Cloud Nine, Pillow Talk, Neo-Orange, and Great White.

I don't have any neon liners in my collection, so am definitely interested in checking these out.

Have you seen the new LA Splash Electric liquid eyeliners?
