e.l.f. Disney Snow White Collection

e.l.f. has done it again with another Disney Collection.

First, it was Ariel and now it is Snow White.

These collections are exclusive to Walgreens.

So far, this collection includes a brush collection, eye collection, face collection, lip collection, beauty book, eyelashes, and 4 different makeup bags.

I hadn't known about this collection until about a week after its release.

I immediately starting stalking my local Walgreens, which included visits and calls.

One night I got lucky when I called around 7pm and they were just putting the collection out.

I arrived at my local Walgreens in about 5 minutes.

By that time there were only about one of each set available with the exception of the lashes and makeup bags.

Each Collection is simply named The Fairest of Them All whereas each piece in the Ariel Collection had different names.

Each piece in collection is either $4.99, $7.99, or $9.99.

The Ariel Collection was available on a couple weeks after its initial release in Walgreens stores.

The Snow White Collection is now also available online.

This whole collection is adorable and I feel like e.l.f. and Disney have really outdone themselves. I hope that they continue these collections with the other princesses.

Have you picked up any items from the e.l.f. Disney Snow White Collection?

Milani Bella Eyes Swatches

I picked up 9 of the new Bella Eyes Eyeshadows from Milani.

Overall I must say that I am impressed with them, mainly with the darker shimmer colors as those seem to be the most pigmented.

The three lighter shades are Bella Diamond, Bella Chiffon, and Bella Shimmer, which would work great as highlight colors on the brow bone, inner corner, and cheeks.

I have yet to use any of them wet and am curious as to see the difference in how they hold up.

The 9 that I bought are swatched to left to right - Bella Diamond, Bella Chiffon, Bella Champagne, Bella Mandarin, Bella Gold, Bella Copper, Bella Bronze, Bella Rouge, and Bella Teal.

Which is your favorite? I love Bella Gold, Bella Copper, and Bella Bronze.

L.A. Colors Haute Palette Swatches

On my recent order from, one of the L.A. Colors 16 Color Eyeshadow Palettes that I ordered arrived broken.

This wasn't a problem, I contacted their customer support and they shipped me out a new palette and I was able to keep this one. I decided to swatch it.

This palette is called Haute.

It contains 16 colors ranging from neutral, pastels, and brights.

The eyeshadows are all shimmery and pigmented.

The palette can be purchased via the link below on for $3.99

As with any eyeshadow the colors will be more vibrant with the use of a good primer/base.

Based on the swatches what do you think of the L.A. Colors Haute Palette? Haul - L.A. Girl and L.A. Colors

Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette - Inspired Look

Here is a look that I created using the Coastal Scents Revealed 2 Palette.

Brow bone - ivory shimmer (1st row, 1st color)

Inner corner - light pink with glitter, similar to Dust from UD's Naked 3 (1st row, 4th color)

Crease and under the eye- light rose matte (1st row, 6th color) and medium mauve matte (2nd row, 1st color)

Lid - medium pink shimmer, closest to UD's Buzz from Naked 3 (1st row, 8th color)

Outer corner and under the outer portion of the eye- dark wine matte (2nd row, 7th color)

Coastal Scents Revealed Palette - Inspired Look

Here is a look that I created using the Coastal Scents Revealed Palette.

Brow bone & inner corner - I cheated and used Venus from Urban Decay's Naked Basics since I wanted a shimmery white. There are definitely shades from the Revealed Palette which can be used for the brow bone.

All over the lid up to the brow bone - off white matte (1st row, 1st color)

Crease - medium brown matte (1st row, 7th color)

Lid - light silvery shimmer (1st row, 10th color)

Outer Corner - dark brown shimmer (2nd row, 8th color)

Under the eye - gold shimmer (1st row, 8th color)

Coastal Scents Revealed Palettes Haul

When I first heard that Coastal Scents had released a palette called the Revealed Palette I wanted to see what it was all about.

So I researched it online by looking at swatches and watching Youtube videos like any rational person would do.

After seeing all the reviews, which were good I decided to pass.

Everyone was comparing it to the Urban Decay Naked and Naked 2 Palettes.

I convinced myself at the time that I don't need it since I have both Naked Palettes, so I felt proud that I had resisted the urge to buy it.

Well fast forward to the future and Coastal Scents releases the Revealed 2 Palette.

Again I research the palette and convince myself that again I don't need this because I have the Naked 3 Palette from Urban Decay.

But Naked 3 is my favorite and I love rose hued eyeshadows.

I knew that was my weakness and that it was only a matter of time before I gave in. Well after hearing the continued hype my curiosity got the best of me and I caved.

Ok so yes I have palettes that are dupes for the actual palettes I have, but I just have to defend that by one, admitting that I am a makeup addict and do have a problem :) and two, they are not exactly the same.

I am so glad I got them. Yes, some shades do appear to be dupes, but there are also shades that aren't dupes. Also these palettes are great for everyday use when you want to keep your Naked Palettes for special occasions.

They contain neutral mattes, neutral shimmers, are highly pigmented, easily blendable, and last hours with a primer, and are cheaper than the Urban Decay Naked Palettes at a mere $19.99.

Urban Decay Naked Flushed Palette

I have had the Naked Flushed Palette for some time now, but have only recently started using it.

I have to say that it has really grown on me, so much so that I use it almost daily.

It has become my day to day blush, bronzer, and highlighter.

Of course I do have days where I feel a little outside the box and I will switch up my routine, which entails a different blush, bronzer or highlighter.

I love the sturdy packaging because it is great for traveling.

I also am a sucker for versatile products since they allow you to conveniently have multiple products in one place.

I find that all three shades are flattering, pigmented, and apply easily.

Urban Decay has made three more variations of this palette. I do also have Native, but am finding it a bit difficult to switch.

I highly recommend the Naked Flushed for anyone who has yet to try them.

You can find the Naked Flushed Palettes on Urban Decay's website and at Sephora, Ulta, and Macy's. They are $30, which is a great deal. It breaks down to $10 per product.

PHAMExpo 2014 Haul

This was my first year attending PHAMExpo and I must say it was so much fun. I would have to say that it is a totally different experience than IMATS. Don't get me wrong I love IMATS it just can be a little chaotic, crowded, and overwhelming.

For PHAMExpo I purchased a two day VIP pass and I attended both days. I met a lot of great people and hauled tons of great items that I have been wanting to try and some items that I just plain wanted. What's even better is that all items purchased were on sale. Yay to saving money!

Milani Bella Eyes

Milani has launched a new gel powder eyeshadow called Bella Eyes.

A gel powder formula allows them to glide on easily with vibrant color.

When applying the shadows have more of a gel consistency, but once the dry they resemble a powder finish.

They are described as being crease proof and can be applied wet or dry with the fingertips or a brush.

They range in finishes from satin to shimmer.

They are available in 30 shades from neutrals to brights.

The Bella Eyes eyeshadows retail for $3.99.

They can be purchased online at and are available at drugstores.

I couldn't resist the urge to try them out so I ordered a few of them today and will be doing swatches once I receive them.
