This past week Too Faced announced 4 new shades to their Melted Lipstick line.

These are in Berry, Fig, Marshmallow, and Candy.

These are $21 each and can be found on Too Faced's website, Sephora, Ulta, and anywhere else Too Faced is sold.

Candy looks gorgeous. Have you picked up any Melted Lipsticks yet? Thoughts?

OCC Lip Tar Trio - Nylon, Harlot, and Trollop

I love OCC Lip Tars.

They are so pigmented and will last for hours.

I recently picked up a trio set from Sephora, which included Nylon, Harlot, and Trollop.

Nylon is described as a bubblegum pink with a neon twist

Harlot is described as a neon popsicle red

Trollop is described as a pinked coral

All three of these shades are matte.

Lip Tars retail for $18 each. The trios retail for $39.50, which is a great deal. You are getting three for the price of two.

This is a great set to get because you are getting three different colors, a red, pink, and a coral.

Lip Tars are truly great lip products, just apply them over a lip primer and you are good to go for hours.

My favorite lip tar is Grandma. What is yours?

Benefit Lip Balms

Benefit has released new lip balms that match their stains.

They are lollibalm, posiebalm, chachabalm, and benebalm.

lollibalm goes with lollitint, posiebalm goes with posietint, chachabalm goes with cha chatint, and benebalm goes with benetint.

These lip balms are are tinted in different shades that the color can be built up using multiple applications or layers.

lollibalm is a candy orchid tint

posiebalm is a poppy pink tint

chachabalm is a mango tint

benebalm is a rose tint

I just love benefit's packaging. These are really exciting. I love that they match the stains. The stains can be used on the lips also but these are better suited for the lips and they are balms and will be hydrating.

lollibalm is perfect for this year since it is an orchid shade which is this year's Pantone color of the year.

They are currently available at Sephora, Ulta, and Macy's for $18. They will be available on benefit's website on Mya 27th.

I would love to get lollibalm and benebalm. Which do you have your eye on?

MAC 3D Glitters

MAC recently released 7 gorgeous 3D Glitters.

This picture is seriously beautiful.

Glitter is just so wonderful. I mean who doesn't love glitter?

The new 3D Glitters come in 7 colors. These are 3D Pale Mint, 3D Lavender, 3D Pink, 3D Platinum, 3D Brass Gold, 3D Silver, and 3D Black.

They can be used on the skin, face, and hair.

They are $21 and available now at MAC.

I picked up the 3D Pale Mint and I am loving it. These 3D Glitters are gorgeous and really have to be seen in person to fully appreciate them.

Which ones will you be getting?

Toying Around with another Neutral Look

I was so pleased with the outcome of pairing a neutral look with MAC's Toying Around that I created another one.

I used the 88 Neutral Palette from BH Cosmetics again.

I applied a matte cream to the brow bone and an off white shimmer to the inner corner.

Next I applied a light beige matte to my crease up to the matte cream shadow on the brow bone.

I then applied a red brown matte to my crease and blended below the light beige.

I applied a peach shimmer to the lid.

I lined the top lid with a black liner and applied mascara.

I seem to be on the trend lately of bright bold MAC lips and neutral eyes.

What type of eye do you like to pair with a bold lip?

Neutral with a Pop of Color & Toying Around Lips

One of my favorite lipsticks at the moment is Toying Around from Mac's Playland Collection.

I wanted to create an edgy neutral look to pair with Toying Around.

To make the look edgy I was thinking a pop of color.

Here's what I came up with.

Now here's how I created it.

First, I decided to use the 88 Neutral Palette from BH Cosmetics.

I applied my standard UD Primer Potion and MAC's Painterly Paint Pot all over my eyes.

Next I applied a matte cream to my brow bone.

I then swept a light brown matte in my crease up to my brow bone.

Next I deepened up the outer corner my lightly appling a matte black and blending that into the light brown.

I lined the top of my lid with UD's Perversion liquid liner.

Lasting I took the only orange in the palette and lined under my eye all the way towards the wing from the top of the lid.

I curled my lashes and applied Smashbox's Full Exposure Mascara.

I love creating edgy looks like this with a pop of color. Do you have a favorite color that you use to create a pop of color? Favorite MAC lipstick?

Gold and True Love's Kiss

Once I had tried on True Love's Kiss from the MAC Maleficent Collection I knew that I needed to create an eye look to compliment it.

I knew that I wanted it to be neutral so that all of focus would be on the lips.

I also knew that gold would look great.

Of course I chose to use Urban Decay's Naked 2 Palette.

As always, I first primed my lids with UD Primer Potion and MAC's Paint Pot in Painterly.

Next I applied Foxy to my brow bone.

I applied Tease from my crease up to Foxy.

I the applied Suspect in the crease below Tease.

I patted Half Baked on the lid and lined with it under my eye.

I applied Bootycall to the inner corner.

I lined my top lid with a brown gel liner, curled my lashes, and applied Too Faced's Lashgasm Mascara.

Lastly, I applied True Love's Kiss lipstick.

What do you think of red and gold as a color combination?

Mint Look with Mochi, Alluring Aquatic, and 3D Glitter

Before I really acquired a makeup addiction I had no idea that it took so many products to create a makeup look.

I created a mint inspired look using about 20 products.

This look was inspired from MAC's 3D Glitter in Pale Mint.

I really wanted to create a look using Pale Mint so I used it as my inspiration, creating a look as I went along. I also used three new products from the MAC Alluring Aquatic Collection which was released earlier this week online. Lastly, I used Sugarpill's Mochi, which is a gorgeous mint matte from the Heart Breaker Palette.

Here is a beautiful picture of what a makeup mess looks like. These are most of the products that I used to create this look minus the mascara (Too Faced Lashgasm) and Andrea black lashes in 21.

Here is how the finished look

Here's how I created the look:

I started with my face, applying moisturizer, MAC Studio Fix Fluid in NC25, Fix Fluid Powder in NC25, and e.l.f. Maximum Coverage Concealer in Porcelain.

I applied MAC's Sea Me, Hear Me Blush from the Alluring Aquatic Collection.

Next I primed my lids with UD Primer Potion and BH Cosmetics Eye and Lip Primer as a base.

Then I filled in my brows with Milani's Brow Fix in medium.

I applied Sugarpill's Tako from the Sweet Heart Palette to my brow bone.

Next I used W.O.S. from Urban Decay's Naked Basics Palette and blended that into my crease using MAC's 217 Blending Brush up to my brow bone.

I then applied Sugarpill's Mochi from the Heart Breaker Palette onto my lid up to my crease below W.O.S. and blended.

I apply Too Faced's Glitter Glue to my lid using a synthetic flat brush.

Next I pressed MAC's Pale Mint 3D Glitter onto my lids using that same synthetic brush.

I lined the top of my lids using e.l.f.'s black liquid eyeliner.

I curled my lashes and applied Too Faced's Lashgam mascara.

I lined under my eye with Revlon's High Dimension eyeliner in Gold Flash and pressed MAC's Sea Worship eyeshadow from the Alluring Aquatic Collection onto the eyeliner.

I applied e.l.f.'s Long Lasting Lustrous Eyeshadow in Confetti into my inner corner.

I applied Andrea lashes in 21.

Finally I applied a vanilla eos to my lips and applied MAC's Enchanted One Lipstick.

Lastly I applied e.l.f.'s baked blush in Pinktastic as a highlight to my brow bone, cupid's bow and nose.

I know that's a lot of work for a makeup look, but I really enjoy the process of creating art on my face.

Mint is one of my favorite colors and this look came out beautifully. I can't say enough great things about MAC's Alluring Aquatic Collection and 3D Glitter in Pale Mint. I am in love.

Did you pick up any of MAC's 3D glitters?

Beautifully Disney - Curiouser and Curiouser Collection

On May 3rd Beautifully Disney launched the new Curiouser & Curiouser Collection at Downtown Disney, Disneyland, and Walt Disney World.

The Curiouser & Curiouser Collection is of course based on no other, but my favorite Disney cartoon, Alice in Wonderland.

The collection comes with an eyeshadow palette containing 6 neutral shades, two lip glosses in Miss Priss and Literally Nonsense, a set of 4 mini lipsticks, 4 nail polishes, and two cute macaroon shaped makeup sponges.

I don't know about you, but I definitely need this whole entire collection in my life. Have you picked up any items from the collection yet? If so I am jealous, but seriously what did you get?

OCC Tarred and Feathered Lip Colour Duo

OCC also known as Obsessive Compulsive Cosmetics recently announced the upcoming release of a new product.

It is a Lip Colour Duo in Tarred and Feathered which is obviously appropriately named.

It will be released at Sephora on June 6th.

What do you think of Tarred and Feathered? A must have? It kind of reminds me of the Make Up For Ever Flash Palette of course minus the other 10 colors.

MAC Haul

In supporting my growing MAC addiction I had to place in order for some essentials.

I picked up a forever popular Fluidline in Dipdown, which is a rich chocolate brown liner.

I also picked up a loose pigment in Blue Brown, which is a stunning blue brown duochrome.

The infamous 217 blending brush, which I absolutely adore and haven't stopped using since I first picked it up.

Lastly, two lipsticks in Heroine and Sushi Kiss. I am completely obsessed with MAC lipsticks and almost see no need to ever use another brand of lipstick again. Almost.

What are your favorite MAC items?

Pacifica Eyeshadow Duo 1 - Swatch

One of the items that I received in the May Ipsy Glam Bag is a Pacifica Eyeshadow Duo.

The name of the eyeshadow duo is simply Duo 1.

It comes with two shimmer shades that are perfect for Summer, which are a beautiful duochrome pink and a gold bronze.

This is my first time using an eyeshadow from Pacifica, but just from swatching alone I can say that I am impressed.

The shades are buttery smooth, pigmented, and glide on. Did I mention there is a gorgeous duochrome pink? Enough said.

Below are the swatches.

Did you get the Pacifica Eyeshadow Duo in this month's glam bag? Thoughts?

May Ipsy Glam Bag

The theme for Ipsy's Glam Bag for May is Fresh Picks.

I love the makeup bag this month with it's eco friendly pattern.

With that being said I am a little disappointed with the items in this month's bag.

One thing I always enjoy about the glam bags from Ipsy is that you receive different types of products each month.

Well this month I was a little caught off guard when I found out that 4 of the 5 items that I received are face products (3 if you don't count the sunscreen). Don't get my wrong I love a clean face like the next gal, but I had my sights set on maybe a Too Faced Chocolate Bronzer, a lip item, and a nail polish.

Maybe next month? C'est la vie, when in Rome, and yadda yadda. You get the point.

Regardless the items will still be put to good use.

So here's what I received:

Hang Ten SPF 50 Sunscreen - I have never used SPF 50 sunscreen, but my fair skin could definitely use it. Plus it is always a good idea to use sunscreen on your face if it isn't already in your foundation.

Pur-lisse Moisturizer - I always use moisturizer when getting out of the shower or before applying my foundation.

Derma e Microdermabrasion Scrub - Sure. Why not? It claims to reduce wrinkles, fine lines, and acne scars. Sounds like a good time.

Hey Honey Take it off Mask - I am not a big mask girl, but what the heck.

And drumroll... Pacifica Eyeshadow Duo 1 - A very pretty eyeshadow duo with a pink duochrome shimmer and a bronze gold shimmer. This is the item I am most excited for. The shades are gorgeous.

My next blog post will have the swatches of the Pacifica Eyeshadow Duo 1.

What did you get in your glam bag this month?

MAC Maleficent - True Love's Kiss

I have recently become quite fond of MAC lipsticks.

I know I am a late bloomer.

When I caught wind that MAC would be releasing a Maleficent Collection I knew I had to get something.

The collection is actually quite small and the only item that jumped out to me was the Amplified Lipstick in True Love's Kiss.

I've always run from red lipsticks thinking that I wouldn't like how they look on me. I have to admit that this is my first red lipstick and I am happy that it is.

The color payoff is amazing and it is incredibly hydrating and long lasting. I am happily adding this to my MAC lipstick collection.

I have heard that many are unimpressed with the packaging and I admit that I agree. It is quite bland and unexciting, but it is MAC nonetheless and ultimately will sell itself.

Did you pick up any items from the MAC Maleficent Collection?

Nicole by OPI Roughles - Nails of the Day

I finally got around to using the Nicole by OPI Roughles nail polish that I had received in a previous Ipsy bag.

The shade is in On What Grounds? and it is a Tiffany Blue shade that reminds me of Mint Chocolate Chip.

These Roughles nail polishes are sticking with the latest trend in nail polishes which is texture. It is interesting to say the least and I can't stop myself from constantly touching my nails.

Overall I like the polish it is definitely different. I think I might have to pick up the yellow one.

Have you tried the Nicole by OPI Roughles nail polish? Thoughts?

Galaxy Chic Palette - Blurple

I created another look using my BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic Palette that I named Blurple. Blue + Purple = Blurple.

If you haven't yet seen this palette I definitely recommend checking it out. All of the 18 shadows are baked and are extremely shimmery and very flattering. It is currently $14, but one good thing about BH Cosmetics is that they always have sales.

Heres' how to create my Blurple Look:

Apply Mercury (brown and white speckle) to the inner corner and brow bone

Apply Cosmic (lavender) to the 1st half of the lid up to the crease

Apply Asteroid (brown and blue speckle) to the remainder of the lid up to the crease

Blend and apply liner and mascara

I think baked eyeshadows are very pretty. The ones from the Galaxy Chic Palette are so pigmented they can be worn alone. I feel that some baked eyeshadows aren't that pigmented and only work when layered over other shadows. What do you think of baked eyeshadows?
