Tarte the Tarte of Giving Collector's Set - 1st Look

Besides having never tried tarte Amazonian Clay blushes I have never tried any tarte products. I know. Shame on me. For some reason I just never picked up any tarte products.

For holiday 2013, tarte has released many holiday collections. Some exclusive to Sephora and some exclusive to Ulta. The tarte of Giving Collector's Set is exclusive to Sephora and is $59. Below is the direct link to Sephora to purchase the set.

the tarte of Giving Collector's Set

I used the same reasoning for purchasing this set as I did for purchasing the tarte Off the Cuff palette. This is the reasoning of having the ability to try many items at once. For one I love bows and what lover of bows wouldn't love a bow travel makeup bag? Secondly it contains an eyeshadow palette, which enables me to try 20 eyeshadows at once. All of the eyeshadows are limited edition. Next you get a variety of tarte products to try, such as 8 Maracuja lip glosses, a Maracuja Oil, a Maracuja C-Brightener, a limited edition Amazonian Clay blush in Memorable, a cheek stain in flush, and a Lights, Camera, Lashes mascara. In my opinion that really is a lot of bang for your buck.

Look out for an upcoming look using the eyeshadow palette as I will be creating a look shortly. One last thing to mention each of the eyeshadows is named after a tarte staff member and one of their favorite Christmas gifts of the past, for example Staci's Charm Bracelet. The lip glosses are named after children. This is such a cute concept for the holidays and helps to get one in the holiday spirit. The Maracuja lip glosses also have a peppermint smell which is perfect for the holidays. I have tried the lip glosses and am loving them. The majority of them are pink, but you do get a red and a nude.

I have a feeling that I am going to be pleased with these tarte products and feel that tarte may have gained a new makeup addict.

Have you purchased this set? Opinions? Do you already use tarte products?
