Upon seeing the palette's box I am immediately taken back by the awesome artwork by Kat Von D.
The back of the box shows pictures of each eyeshadow and its name. Very colorful!
Oh what do you know? You open the box and the palette contains the same awesome artwork. So far I am loving what I see.
The back of the palette shows again the eyeshadow colors and names. In addition, it shows you how to use a combination of each set of shadows to create an eye look. I like that. Takes the guess work out of creating a look when you are in a pinch.
Inside the palette also contains a couple of illustrations that show you how to create a few looks.
Aw. Now we are talking, onto the beautiful eyeshadows. The eyeshadows are in a range of finishes. You have your neutral colors and your bold colors, with a few interesting colors. The only thing that I have seen with other reviews online and that I can agree with are the annoying film that is attached to the palette to protect the shadows. The names are actually printed on the film so you have to keep flipping back and forth to see the names. In addition, you have to fold the film back to keep it out of your way so it doesn't keep springing forward. It looks like it is perforated on the edge so it can be removed and can be laid across the top of the shadows.
A look at the gorgeous shadows minus the film cover. Can't wait to play with these colors!
Another picture of the whole palette
I will be swatching these shadows in the next couple days so be on the lookout for that post if you are curious as to the colors. I haven't used them yet so I am not sure as to their quality. I will be using them soon in the near future and will post the look I create.
On a final note I purchased this palette at www.sephora.com for $55.
Do you have this palette or have you seen it? Opinions?
