Coastal Scents Go Palette Sydney - Playing with Pastels

Pastels. Pastel Princess. Pretty in Pastels. Playing with Pastels.

No matter how you word it Pastels are hot right now. Pastels give you that light pretty look. I am completely obsessed with them at the moment.

I recently picked up these pastel peacock earrings and was inspired to do a pastel look inspired by these earrings (they were shown in my recent Hobby Lobby post).

One of my favorite pastel palettes is the Coastal Scents Go Palette in Sydney. This palette contains 12 bright appearing shadows that actually do come out quite pastel when applied. Well at least most of them do :) The palette contains 12 shades that range from yellows, greens, blues, to pinks.

The Coastal Scents Go Palette in Sydney is currently $8.95 and can occasionally be purchased for $4.95 when it is on sale. Below is the link for the palette.

Here is how to recreate the Playing with Pastels look that I created:

Prime your eyes with your favorite eyeshadow primer.

Apply a matte white to your brow bone. I used e.l.f. Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow in Bridal Party.

Take your handy dandy Sydney Go Palette from Coastal Scents.

Apply the yellow shimmer (1st row, 1st color) to the inner corner of your eye.

On the middle of the lid apply the pink shimmer (1st row, 4th color).

Next apply the green shimmer (2nd row, 2nd color) next to the pink shimmer.

In the outer corner apply the blue shimmer (1st row, 3rd color).

Apply the taupe shimmer to the crease (3rd row, 3rd color).

Blend, blend blend...

Line your top lid with your favorite liner (liquid, cream, or gel).

Line under your eye with your favorite pencil liner and use the eyeshadows above in the same order under the eye to set the liner.

Curl your lashes and apply your favorite mascara (I used They're Real! by benefit).

Are you loving the Pastel trend? Oh and have you heard of the term Pastel Goth? I heard it recently and I thought it was interesting :)

Happy Creativity.
