When I created this look, which was a mixture of white, mint, and blue shimmer it gave my eyes a look which made them appear to be iced. It was such a cool effect. It is kind of hard to explain, but once you see the pictures you might understand.
I created this look using the newest palette from BH Cosmetics which is the Galaxy Chic Palette. This palette contains 18 baked eyeshadows, half of which are speckled eyeshadows containing a mix of two colors. These in themselves create unique, beautiful, shimmery colors.
I have only used this palette once but can say without a doubt that I am very pleased with this palette. The eyeshadows are pigmented and long lasting. The only advice I have is to tap any excess shadow off of your brush before applying them as there is fallout. No biggie.
Here's how to create Iced Eyes using the BH Cosmetics Galaxy Chic Palette:
Brow bone & inner corner - Meteor (Mint green shimmer speckle with white shimmer)
Middle of the lid - Comet (Mint green shimmer)
Outer corner & outer crease - Earth (Blue shimmer speckle with white shimmer)
Line your top lid with your favorite black eyeliner preferably liquid, cream, or gel eyeliners
Apply the eyeshadows used above in the same order under the eye over a base (Jumbo Eye Pencil or eyeliner)
Curl your lashes and apply your favorite mascara
Voila! Pictures below are of the finished look.
I was inspired to choose the color combination for this look (mint, white, and green) based on the pendant I purchased below from Hobby Lobby that I turned into a necklace.
