Vice 2 Palette - Day 3 Golden Blues

I'm late, I'm late...

For a very important date.

A date with my blog that is.

I couldn't help but throw in a little Alice in Wonderland reference. I am a huge fan of Alice in Wonderland.

Anyway, these eyes of the day are from last Friday. I feel lately that it has been a little hard for me to keep up with my blogs. I have been blogging pretty much daily since the end of April and have been able to pretty much adjust my daily schedule to fit blogging in. Lately though, I have started exercising which takes up time that I usually had free. Don't get me wrong. I am not complaining by any means, but just need to manage my time better so that I am able to take some time for me doing what I enjoy which is blogging.

I do spend time daily in the mornings prior to going to work on my makeup. I figure since I am spending the time that I might as well share the looks with others. I enjoy doing my makeup and creating looks which I hope will inspire others. Especially in the sense of thinking outside the box. Some people choose to play it safe with makeup and there is nothing wrong with that, but to those that want to do something a little more far from the norm, I hope that I can inspire them and show them that if I can do it then you definitely can too.

Ok enough ranting and raving onto the third look I have created using Urban Decay's Vice 2 Palette.

I call this look Golden Blues or maybe Madness Strike would be more accurate :)

I applied UD Primer Potion to my lids and then applied Maybelline's Color Tattoo in Barely Beige on top of my primer.

Next I applied Dope (Champagne Satin) to my brow bone.

I took Strike (Gold Shimmer with Silver Glitter) and applied it to the 1st half of my lid.

Next I applied Madness (Blue Shimmer with Blue Glitter) to the other half of my lid.

I then blended Strike into Madness and Madness into Strike.

I lined under my eye with Almay's intense i-color in Brown Topaz patting Strike into the 1st half under my eye and madness into the the 2nd half under my eye.

I lined my top lid with L'Oreal's Infallible 24 Hr. cream liner in Espresso.

I curled my lashes and applied Urban Decay's Supercurling Mascara to my lashes.

For my cheeks I applied e.l.f.'s Peachy Keen.

I like how the blue and gold combination came out. What do you think?
