Sugarpill has the most vibrant eyeshadows that really just pop. I highly recommend checking them out if you haven't already. You won't regret it.
Onto the method of my madness for the look that I created on Saturday, but first take a second to look at the first two pictures that show the finished look which I have entitled Tropical Rainbow.
The picture below shows the tube top that I wore on Saturday which became my inspiration for creating the look above. As you can see if I have incorporated the same colors from the tube top into my look. These are black, white, orange, yellow, green, and purple.
I created this look using all 3 palettes from Sugarpill. These are the Burning Heart Palette, Sweetheart Palette, and Heart Breaker Palette.
I applied my foundation, concealer, powder, UD Primer Potion, and Jordana Cosmetics 12 HR Made to Last Eyeshadow Pencil in Eternal White.
First, I used Tako (white matte) on the inner corner and brow bone down to the crease.
Second, I applied Flamepoint (orange matte) to the 1st fourth of the lid.
Third, I applied Buttercupcake (yellow matte) to the 2nd fourth of the lid.
Fourth, I applied Midori (green matte) to the 3rd fourth of the lid.
Fifth, I applied 2am (purple matte) to the outer part of the lid.
I then blended Flamepoint into Buttercupcake, Buttercupcake into Midori, and Midori into 2am. I did this by first blending the colors that were already on the lid and then applying more of the same shadow on the lid and blending again.
The great thing about theses eyeshadows is that even though they are extremely pigmented and vibrant you can really blend them out to a lighter shade and apply more to darken the color.
I then applied e.l.f.'s cream eyeliner in black to the top lid.
I applied UD's eyeliner in zero to the bottom lash line.
I applied NYX' Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk to my waterline.
Lastly I curled my lashes and applied my go to Covergirl Lash Blast Volume Mascara.
That's it! The final look is in the pictures below.
I love Rainbow looks. Traditional rainbows, pastel rainbows, tropical rainbows, etc... What type of rainbow looks do you prefer? Opinions on Sugarpill Cosmetics?
