Coral and mint are two colors that are popular right now and probably wouldn't be a color combination that would immediately pop into mind as a scorching combo.
Take a quick second to look at the two pictures and below to really see how these two colors play well together.
Now a little insight into how I got this quirky idea. I was trying to decide what to wear today and I opted for the shirt below. As you can see the design on the shirt is coral flowers that have mint leaves. Instantly a light bulb went off in my head and I knew what I had to do and how I would do it.
Armed again with my Coastal Scents 42 Double Stack Shimmer Palette I once again went to work on a fresh canvas for a new look...
I primed my lids with UD Primer Potion and then applied my eye base, which is the 12 Hr Made to Last Eyeshadow Pencil in Eternal White (this is a matte white similar to NYX JEP in Milk).
I applied the white shimmer (1st row, 1st color) to my brow bone, inner corner, and 1st third of my lid.
Next I applied the peach shimmer (2nd row, 1st color) to my crease.
I picked up the coral shimmer (2nd row, 2nd color) to the middle of my lid up to the crease.
Lastly I picked up the dark mint shimmer (4th row, 5th color) and applied that to the outer corner and outer crease.
I then lined my top lid with my L'Oreal Infallible 24 Hr cream liner in Espresso.
Lined my bottom lid with my Almay Intense i-color eyeliner in Brown Topaz, applied the coral shimmer to the first half under my eye, and applied the dark mint to the outer half under my eye.
Curled my lashes and applied my Covergirl Lash Blast Mascara.
I took some of the pictures below and realized that I had a liquid e.l.f. eyeliner with multicolored glitter so I applied that on top of the eyeliner on top of my lid (the 2nd picture on this post and the 2nd to last have the glitter, though it is hard to tell :) )
In your opinion do you think mint and coral are mint to be?
