Creme De Couture sounds so fancy and expensive. The Sigma Beauty Creme De Couture Palette does look fancy but thankfully it isn't that expensive.
I am sure most of you have heard of the saying creme de la creme. This is a French saying that means the best of the best. Couture is another French word usually referring to fashion, but can mean expensive.
Now if you put these words together it basically means the best expensive palette. Well I agree that it is a great, fancy palette. It is definitely not expensive at $32 you get 16 eyeshadows. I call that a creme de la creme deal!
I received my Creme De Couture Palette from Sigma Beauty last Friday. I must say I thought seeing this palette online was love at first site. Well seeing this palette in person was actually love at first site the other was only like at first site.
The eyeshadows in this palette are vibrant, true to color, soft, have no fallout, blend easily, and are long lasting. Yes, that's right, you read the above correctly.
In creating today's eye look I used Jordana Cosmetics new 12 HR Made to Last Eyeshadow Pencil in Eternal White. I used it as an eye base and let me just say after 8 hours of wear I have absolutely no creasing. So thumbs up to that!!! Even with NYX's JEP in Milk I have creasing by 8 hours. If you haven't checked these out I highly recommend at least Eternal White.
Now to the Face of the Day:
Brow Bone - Matte White (e.l.f. Pressed Mineral Eyeshadow in Bridal Party)
Inner Corner - White Shimmer (Hard Candy Eyeshadow)
Crease & under the eye - Pink Brown Matte (Passion Fruit)
Lid & under the eye - Light Powder Blue (Blue Chocolat)
Outer Corner & Outer Crease - Dark Powder Blue (Blueberry Cream)
Eyeliner on top of the lid - L'Oreal Infallible 24 HR in Espresso
Eyeliner under the eye - Almay Intense i-color in Brown Topaz
Mascara - Covergirl Lash Blast Volume
Blush - NYX Mosaic Powder in Dare
This palette reminds me of spring and pastels. What does it remind you of?
