The colors in this palette are great by themselves. Everyone needs a great matte white and this white BrowBone is definitely great. It is stark white and stands out as highlight color. When you are wearing it you can definitely tell that you have it on.
In terms of the red Crease color well everyone can use a red eyeshadow in their collection. You never know when you may need it, maybe Halloween or some type of inspired makeup look that calls for red. This red is a matte but with slight sparkle.
Now for the black Eyelid color. There is nothing wrong with it. It is a black matte shade. Black eyeshadow is a necessity and will be useful. The color is dark and not patchy.
All three shades again are matte. They are all very pigmented. They can be built up for stronger intenisty. Red is the "pop " color of this palette (kinda obvious).
I consider this palette the toughest because let's face it in the case at least for me Three's Not a Party unless I am a vampire. I love these colors separately. Ok maybe red and I are on more of a like relationship. For me the colors just don't go well together. It may be my fair complexion. Either way I can't see myself ever wearing all three colors in this palette together on a day to day basis, but if that day is Halloween I am for it.
