BH Cosmetics Malibu Palette & Swatches

Not everyone likes to go to the beach. I am one of those people, but I do love beach inspired makeup looks. Who doesn't love getting a specific outcome without having to do the work.

Earlier this year while at IMATS I visited the bh Cosmetics booth. I was on the lookout for any new palettes since I have this addiction with collecting all palettes bh. To my surprise I found that they were selling 3 California inspired palettes and I believe they were on sale for $6 each and not yet available for sale on their website. I picked up the Malibu and Hollywood Palettes, and decided to skip the San Francisco Palette at this time.

Thus far the Malibu Palette is by far my favorite. Each palette does contain the same number of products, which are 16 eyeshadows and 4 face powders, but all have their own unique color spectrum. The Malibu Palette focuses on shades that would remind you of the beach specifically bronzes, golds, blues, and greens, which scream sand and water.

bh Cosmetics are very affordable and are definitely comparable to high end makeup products in my opinion. The eyeshadows are extremely pigmented, remarkably long lasting, come in a range of textures including matte and shimmer, available in an enormous color selection depending on your style, are very blendable, and are overall spectacular.

Below are swatches of the BH Cosmetics Malibu Palette and Today's Face of the Day.

Brow Bone & Inner Corner - Vanilla Shimmer (Left side of the palette, 4th row, 1st color)
1st Third of the Lid - Gold Shimmer (Left side of the palette, 4th row, 2nd color)
Center of the Lid - Blue Shimmer (Right side of the palette, 2nd row, 1st color)
Outer Third of the Lid & Under the Eye - Bronze Shimmer ( Right side of the palette, 3rd row, 1st color)
Crease - Beige Shimmer (Left side of the palette, 3rd row, 1st color)

I almost forgot to mention that these are limited edition palettes so if you want them don't wait too long. Visit bhcosmetics.com.
