This weekend I took a stroll by my local Walgreens. I have been on a hunt for the Summer 2013 Maybelline Color Tattoos. So far my luck hasn't been too great. I decided this would not be a wasted trip to the drugstore. I have been scoping out the new Wet n Wild Fergie palettes for some time now. I decided to pick up the Photo Op Eyeshadow Palette in Metropolitan Nights.
This palette contains 5 eyeshadows.
A glittery white, glittery yellow gold, shimmer taupe, a black matte with gold shimmer, and a matte black.
The pigmentation for the glittery white and gold are not the best ever, but they work great as highlight colors. The taupe shimmer is ok, but really pops with a good base and primer. Both of the black shades are definitely the best out of the shadows pigmentation wise. These would also make great eyeliners.
Today's face of the day was created using the following:
Glittery White - Brow Bone
Glittery Gold - Inner Corner and Under the Eye
Taupe Shimmer - On the Lid over Maybelline Color Tattoo in Tough as Taupe
Beauty Tip of the Day - Regardless of the quality of an eyeshadow, if you use a good base the color will intensify.
