Milani Naturally Chic - Day 2 & Holy Grail of Makeup Update

This morning I wasn't feeling overwhelmingly inspired to do any specific makeup look. Since I still had my Milani Naturally Chic Shadow Eyez and Runway Eyes in makeup bag I figured it was a no brainer. Plus I wanted to try out my new Shadow Eyez in 12 Golden Bronze.

Yesterday I was so thrilled and convinced that I had stumbled upon the holy grail of makeup. I am reluctant to admit that unfortunately this isn't the case. The Almond Cream Shadow Eyez I used in yesterday's look basically is comparable to Milk by NYX. I would be interested to know other's experiences with it. After about 6 hours I noticed slight creasing which grew progressively worse.

Now with this being said I haven't completely written them off yet. I feel that they haven't been given a fair chance yet. One crucial tidbit to remember with any primer or base is that quantity is key. This means that less is more :) You can use a good primer or base and accidentally use too much product which can result in creasing. It is always best to start out with a little and go from there based on the results. In addition you want to make sure that the product is completely blended.

For today's Face of the Day I used the following:

Runway Eyes Eyeshadow Palette in 19 Naturally Chic
Shadow Eyez in 12 Golden Bronze

Brow Bone & Inner Corner - Shimmery Champagne (1st shade in palette)
Lid - Shadow Eyez in Golden Bronze (used as a base) & Shimmery Golden Bronze (6th shade in palette)
Crease - Light Matte Brown (3rd shade in palette)
Under the Lid - Shadow Eyez in Golden Bronze & Shimmery Golden Bronze above to set it

What has your experience been with Shadow Eyez?
